Responsible for statutory local air quality management, including monitoring network oversight, Air Quality Action Plan implementation, deadline compliance, complex case advice, planning consultation responses, complaint handling, and technical reporting. The role requires presenting complex scientific information to senior stakeholders, elected officials, and the public, maintaining monitoring equipment, managing databases, and producing high-quality reports.

Supports Educational Psychologists in delivering early intervention, psychological assessments, structured observations, information gathering, training, interventions, research, and service development for children and young people. The role involves liaising with schools, families, and professionals, contributing to statutory case preparation without conducting statutory assessments, and working under the supervision of an HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist.

Educational Psychologist supporting children and young people from preschool through post-16 across statutory and traded services. Responsibilities include assessment, consultation, collaboration with families, schools, and professional teams, and support for vulnerable residents. The role uses a solution-focused approach, promotes inclusion, contributes to service development and research, and participates in supervision, professional development, and statutory educational psychology duties.

Leads complex SEND mediation, disagreement resolution, and Tribunal appeal cases for the Local Authority. Responsibilities include preparing legal submissions, representing the council at hearings, advising partners, managing statutory complaints and information requests, analysing performance trends, supporting quality assurance, and driving service improvements. The role requires detailed knowledge of SEND legislation, Tribunal procedures, case law, statutory deadlines, negotiation, risk assessment, and multi-agency collaboration.
