Performs advanced accounting functions including journal entries, general ledger review, reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, accounts payable, payroll entries, resident invoicing, and month-end and year-end close activities. Supports financial reporting, audits, regulatory requirements, and data integrity across financial systems while ensuring GAAP compliance and improving accounting workflows and controls.

Manages community business office operations, including resident billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, insurance and payer coordination, purchasing, deposits, census tracking, financial documentation, and administrative systems. Partners with Corporate Finance and community departments to resolve billing and payment issues, maintain accurate records, follow financial controls, support collections, and ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA, and applicable laws. Communicates with residents, families, vendors, insurers, and external agencies regarding financial and administrative matters.

Provides direct personal and supportive care to elderly residents and clients, including hygiene, medication assistance, mobility support, meal preparation, housekeeping, physical therapy exercises, shopping assistance, and emergency response. The role requires compassionate care, health and safety awareness, flexible availability for 12-hour shifts, and licensed practical nurse credentials in North Carolina or a multistate jurisdiction.
