Jobs at Third City Christian Church

A 12-month, cohort-based ministry internship combining on-site Bible and theology classes, ministry training, coaching, volunteer leadership, pastoral care, sermon preparation, and a possible cross-cultural trip.

Serve as substitute assistant teacher for a preschool classroom of 12–16 children, supporting Bible, academic, social and emotional lessons. Provide a warm, Christ-centered learning environment, supervise and manage children, assist with lesson prep, record-keeping, snack time, parent communication, and general housekeeping. May lead the class in the teacher's absence. Support the Preschool Minister in implementing program goals and partner with families.

Serve as after-school staff working directly with elementary-aged children, support Third City's ministry by upholding its values, assist with light cleaning and maintenance tasks, and act as an advocate for the church's mission and culture.

Assist the preschool teacher in leading a class of 12–16 children by delivering Bible, academic, social and emotional lessons; supervise and encourage children, support behavior management, prepare learning environments and snacks, maintain records and parent communication, perform housekeeping, and occasionally substitute for the head teacher.

Paid 12-month apprenticeship for ministry-trained students to develop personal and professional church workplace skills. Residents apprentice with church staff in a chosen ministry area, receive hands-on training, leadership and personal coaching, and ongoing biblical instruction. Fall 2025 cohort; applicants must meet listed eligibility and character requirements.
