Manages the Pueblo’s employee benefits programs, including provider selection, vendor negotiations, eligibility, enrollment, ACA compliance, 401(k) administration, open enrollment, workers’ compensation, leave programs, and wellness initiatives. Oversees benefit reporting, audits, policies, regulatory compliance, and claim resolution. Supervises benefits staff, manages performance, supports HR budgeting and strategic planning, and recommends program improvements to leadership and Tribal Council.

Directs the Pueblo of Sandia’s comprehensive human resources program, including recruitment, workforce planning, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR records. Establishes policies, oversees budgets and vendor contracts, manages grievances, evaluates workforce data, and advises leadership. Leads HR staff, improves processes and reporting systems, and promotes employee engagement and an inclusive workplace.

Provides cosmetology and hairstyling services, including consultations, hair cutting, coloring, styling, shampooing, nail care, makeup application, and product recommendations. Maintains clean workstations, guest records, sanitation standards, and professional appearance. Rebooks and upsells services, follows company and state regulations, participates in training, and supports team performance goals. The role requires prolonged standing, manual dexterity, customer interaction, and compliance with workplace policies.
