Directs assisted-living resident care, nursing staff supervision, admissions, assessments, care plans, medication operations, incident reporting, compliance, scheduling, training, and emergency response. Ensures adherence to healthcare facility regulations, maintains resident records, supports occupancy goals, and provides direct care to residents experiencing acute illness or changes in condition.

Leads daily operations of an assisted living community, ensuring regulatory compliance, resident care quality, staffing, safety, sales performance, employee development, and community relationships. Oversees medication administration, resident services, hiring and training, operational and labor strategies, prospective resident tours, move-ins, activities, referral programs, and on-call coverage. Partners with corporate leadership, human resources, care teams, residents’ third parties, and external regulators to maintain strong community performance.

Supervise and assist PCAs to ensure high-quality resident care, medication administration, and maintained medication areas. Manage staff training and relations, document resident incidents using Resident Manager/EMAR, follow assisted living regulations, and keep nursing leadership informed of resident and operational issues.
