Developmental rotational role focused on learning the Plant Nutrient Group’s agribusiness supply chain, product management, sales, logistics, financial reporting, pricing, margins, fertilizer markets, and global trade. The trainee will build customer relationship skills and gain experience across commercial and Farm Center operations, with the opportunity to transition into an entry-level sales or commercial position within 8–12 months.

Supports the Accounting team with financial projects, reporting, reconciliations, spreadsheets, research, documentation, and routine month-end and quarter-end activities. The intern gathers, validates, and analyzes financial information, assists with process improvement and testing, and collaborates with accounting and business partners while developing foundational accounting and business operations skills.

Leads a small operations crew by coordinating work, production plans, labor, equipment, safety, training, and daily shift activities. Monitors processes and equipment, resolves minor operational issues, performs minor maintenance, escalates problems, and recommends improvements to plant departments. Trains and onboards new employees while ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations in indoor and outdoor conditions.

Coordinates inventory, order fulfillment, shipping, returns, and operational activities across multiple eCommerce marketplaces and third-party logistics providers. Reconciles inventory, monitors stock levels, tracks fulfillment and shipping metrics, resolves routine operational issues, supports marketplace requirements, and collaborates with supply chain, customer service, sales, marketing, and IT teams. The role also assists with eCommerce system testing, process improvements, documentation, promotions, product launches, and inventory planning.

Supports engineering initiatives at an ethanol production facility by troubleshooting process issues, analyzing operational data, evaluating equipment, updating P&IDs and SOPs, assisting with capital projects, coordinating with contractors, and contributing to safety, reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement efforts.

Supports the Legal department with research, document and records management, reports, presentations, administrative tasks, process documentation, workflow improvements, and special projects. The intern collaborates with business partners, summarizes findings, and gains exposure to legal, regulatory, operational, and strategic activities under close supervision.

The internship provides hands-on exposure to enterprise technology environments and professional development while working under defined procedures and supervision.

Supports agronomy and retail farm-center operations through field scouting, soil and tissue sampling, product applications, inventory control, customer deliveries, and related paperwork. The intern makes recommendations with supervision, analyzes sampling results, develops operational knowledge, and provides customer-focused service. Work is primarily outdoors, may include weekends and extended hours, and requires occasional lifting and independent driving.

Supports an enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA implementation across functional and program workstreams. Responsibilities include requirements documentation, configuration support, test execution, defect tracking, data validation, process documentation, training materials, issue resolution, and cutover readiness. The intern completes a defined project deliverable and gains practical knowledge of SAP business processes through onboarding and daily program participation.

Supports the Tax department with compliance activities, tax projects, financial and operational data analysis, spreadsheets, reports, workpapers, research, audits, and process improvement initiatives. Collaborates with tax team members and business partners while developing foundational knowledge of tax principles, regulations, and corporate tax processes.

Supports procurement operations through Coupa and Concur system administration, data entry, troubleshooting, reporting, data analysis, process documentation, and presentation preparation. Collaborates with internal teams and third-party vendors while contributing to procurement projects and process improvements. The internship requires basic skills, close supervision, strong communication, and an interest in supply chain, business, information systems, or economics.

Supports insurance departments through data entry, document scanning, report preparation, and compliance maintenance. Reviews certificates of insurance and indemnification agreements, identifies coverage deficiencies, communicates issues to managers, coordinates with service providers to obtain required coverage, and prepares correspondence for noncompliant providers. Provides customer service to internal and external stakeholders while managing multiple processes and deadlines.

Leads quality control activities for sand and proppant products, including sampling, testing, data analysis, equipment maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and air-quality monitoring. Maintains laboratory standards and processes, trains technicians, promotes safety, communicates with management and customers, supports operations and other departments, and identifies potential quality, operational, and safety issues. Requires independent work, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement in indoor and outdoor processing environments.

Creates photo and video content for eCommerce advertising, product listings, and social media. Responsibilities include outdoor content capture, video and image editing, digital asset organization, collaboration with Sales and Merchandising teams, content optimization, spreadsheet and report creation, and administrative project support. The intern develops foundational skills in content production, digital marketing, social media, and eCommerce under close supervision.

Lead and perform grain receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging and shipping tasks; monitor safety and quality; train new staff; perform data entry and act as supervisor in their absence.

Manages the Sales and Operations Planning team, coordinating capacity, forecasts, customer orders, production plans, inventory, shipments, and raw material demand. Facilitates monthly and quarterly planning, aligns production plans with organizational goals, monitors capacity and performance, and publishes business reports. Leads professional employees or supervisors, addresses operational challenges, and provides technical guidance across production planning and procurement functions.

Design, implement, and support enterprise integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite. Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to gather requirements, develop scalable integration architectures, lead POCs, document standards and patterns, troubleshoot complex integrations, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture across platforms like SAP, Coupa, Concur, Workday, and ServiceNow.

Operate GPS-guided equipment to accurately mix, load, transport, and apply liquid and dry fertilizers, crop protection products, seed, and other inputs. Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance, complete applicator logs and delivery paperwork, follow product labels and safety/environmental regulations, handle bulk and packaged materials, drive trucks as needed, and support facility duties and housekeeping.

Lead capital projects for an ethanol/renewables plant from concept through completion: prepare cost-effective project and electrical estimates, ensure code compliance, identify required equipment and resources, oversee layout and detail drawings, manage cost/schedule/functionality, evaluate asset risk/benefit, and serve as technical resource while coordinating with vendors and construction teams.
