Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting projects, processes, and initiatives within the Accounting team. The intern will gain exposure to corporate accounting practices, financial processes, and business operations while assisting with day-to-day activities and special projects that support organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a foundational understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and business operations.
  • Support accounting-related projects, reporting activities, and departmental initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with gathering, organizing, validating, and analyzing financial and operational information.
  • Create, review, and maintain spreadsheets, reports, reconciliations, or other documentation related to accounting activities.
  • Collaborate with accounting team members and business partners to support ongoing projects and operational needs.
  • Participate in process improvement, testing, and problem-solving efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and other routine accounting activities as needed.
  • Assist with research, documentation, and analysis to support financial reporting and business decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Sophomore standing (or equivalent) required; junior standing strongly preferred

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience required
