Lead cybersecurity efforts: analyze systems, define security requirements, perform network design reviews and security testing, advise on hardware/software security, and coordinate with development teams to ensure IA standards and vulnerability testing are implemented.

Serve as the Cyber Security/Computer and Network Defense Subject Matter Expert, ensuring technical and operational effectiveness of capabilities, coordinating with the COTR and sponsor staff, and providing expert guidance on cyber defense operations.

Provide cyber security engineering support including RMF/A&A guidance, security requirement identification, network design reviews, security testing, review of SRTMs and SSPs, coordination with system developers, and implementation of NIST 800-53 controls to ensure system accreditation.

Maintain and improve security posture for sponsor compute and cloud environments; manage full lifecycle of security accreditation under ICD-503 Rev.4; create and maintain SSPs and security documentation; apply sponsor information system security policies and risk management framework; engage ISSMs for compliance and pursue IC reciprocity for accreditations.

Design, implement, and support network defense systems across the sponsor's organization. Work on cybersecurity systems and projects responsible for detection, protection, and incident response. Position requires minimum three years relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and an active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph. Located in Herndon, VA with minimal travel.

Provide IT security engineering and integration services, including malicious code detection, intrusion detection, and development/integration of information security tools for government customers. Work requires active TS/SCI with FS poly and a bachelor’s degree.

Operate a 24/7 Regional Operations Center watch: maintain situational awareness, screen and disseminate messages, prepare briefings and reports, coordinate crisis and continuity actions, control ROC access, and liaise with Protection Ashore capabilities.

Provide senior-level Windows server administration: build, configure, maintain, baseline, patch, and troubleshoot servers; manage asset records, backups, change requests, and provide pager/remote support. Participate in TEMs, produce build reports, and coordinate installations under tech lead oversight.

Design, analyze, and implement network architectures and strategies ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and security requirements. Define technical solutions, configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, support switched/routed environments, and perform installation, maintenance, and problem resolution for network systems.

Design, implement, and test LAN/WAN/intranet/extranet networks; perform network modeling and analysis; create blueprint designs for technology initiatives; enforce standardization policies and troubleshoot network issues.

Design and document current and future system architectures, develop roadmaps, identify capability gaps, assess technical solutions, coordinate stakeholders, and produce strategic architecture artifacts using architecture tools, Tableau, and Salesforce to support decision makers.

Provide 24/7 watchstanding in a Navy Regional Operations Center: monitor and maintain situational awareness, process and disseminate messages, prepare briefings and reports, control ROC access, support crisis action management, track equipment status, and coordinate protection ashore and emergency response.

Manage and direct IT programs: plan, coordinate, and integrate electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and programming. Perform day-to-day program management, develop long-term strategic objectives, execute horizontal integration planning, interface with other functional areas, and ensure technical solutions and schedules are implemented on time.

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans labor, schedules, and equipment for testing devices; specifies tests, compiles data, and recommends changes to test equipment, procedures, or manufacturing processes.

Verify and validate systems for compliance with information assurance and cybersecurity standards, emphasizing network operations and cyber warfare. Assess security performance, prepare threat profiles and technical assessments, participate in design and test plan reviews, develop analytical procedures, and produce reports and presentations for senior US government intelligence and operations officials to maintain network and system security posture.

Provides protocol support for senior executive and general officer visits and dignitary receptions. Manages event logistics, official scripts, timelines, and correspondence screening. Researches military/government traditions, retrieves information from databases, coordinates agendas, and uses staffing, organization, communication, and IT skills to execute protocol functions.

Designs and analyzes system and user interfaces, defines system requirements and program specifications, coordinates implementation with programmers, evaluates performance, downtime and proposed upgrades, and develops alternative system solutions. Works closely with functional users to ensure correct implementation and system tuning.

Operate and maintain MID network and lab environments: create and enforce NSS SOPs, monitor customer requests, manage network architectures and baselines, administer servers (domain controllers, file/email servers), support desktops, enforce security policies, manage cloud network configurations, and ensure domain services accreditation per RMF guidance.

Provide information assurance and cyber engineering guidance for network design and architecture. Support computing environments across junior to senior levels, performing RMF, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, web application security, SharePoint/Intelink administration, IA compliance/training, and IT installation/configuration/maintenance. Active TS/SCI clearance and a bachelors degree required.

Provide executive-level support to IC/DoD forums: track actions, develop and assign tasking, consolidate responses, maintain trackers and training, prepare briefings, review documents, and support technical and program reviews. Requires TS/SCI with CI poly, bachelor's degree, and IC/NRO experience.
