The Business Development Manager drives growth by winning new business, managing a sales pipeline, and developing strategic sales plans. Responsibilities include engaging decision-makers, negotiating commercial agreements, and maintaining CRM activity. Candidates should have strong experience in logistics and a proven track record in sales.

Coordinate daily freight allocations and dispatch at a customer site, lead and monitor drivers, manage warehouse staging and returns, ensure safety and CoR compliance, resolve customer enquiries, and maintain operational reporting and scanning/POD processes.

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, fault find and repair high-speed automated conveyor and freight handling systems across multiple sites. Use MEX CMMS for maintenance tasks and reporting, support continuous improvement, minimise downtime, and travel regionally as required.

Provide day-to-day administrative support for Intermodal & Specialised operations, including invoicing, audits, manifesting, fuel/freight calculations, subcontractor invoice reconciliation, account query resolution, POD management, and cross-team support across Accounts Payable, Payroll, Manifesting and Customer Service.
