Permanent part-time dockhand responsible for loading/unloading and sorting parcel freight, preparing shipments, assisting warehouse operations, conducting occasional residential deliveries, maintaining a safe and tidy dock environment, and working with the operations team to meet daily service and safety targets.

Supervise Same Day freight operations across weekends and public holidays. Support and improve the HSE Management System by administering HSE platforms, preparing and analysing reports and dashboards, tracking corrective actions and audits, supporting bids and audits, and assisting projects across risk, contractor management, governance and Chain of Responsibility. Work with stakeholders to identify trends and drive continuous safety improvements.

Support high-value B2B customers by proactively monitoring shipments, identifying delays and service exceptions, investigating issues, and coordinating resolutions across internal teams. Manage phone, email, online, and mailbox enquiries; provide timely updates; maintain accurate records; prepare daily reports; meet customer-service KPIs; promote self-service tools; and identify recurring issues for process improvement.

Lead national operational delivery and relationship management for strategic courier accounts. Oversee scheduling, performance vs KPIs, P&L and margin optimisation, customer onboarding/offboarding, claims and escalations. Drive continuous improvement, partner on business reviews, and manage a team of supervisors, schedulers and support staff to ensure consistent national service delivery.

Lead the establishment and governance of TGE Freight’s enterprise RTO, owning national training, licensing, competency, and compliance frameworks. Manage six Driver Trainers, ensure audit-ready obligations, partner with operational and people leaders, and drive continuous improvement in vocational training and assessment. The role focuses on workforce capability and compliance with WHS, transport, and Chain of Responsibility requirements across a 2,500-person logistics workforce.

Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for compliance, risk, health and safety reporting. Analyze complex operational data to identify trends, gaps and emerging risks; develop lead and lag indicators; conduct root cause analysis; evaluate controls; and translate findings into clear recommendations for nontechnical stakeholders. The role also supports continuous improvement across compliance and safety functions.

Lead and manage day-to-day administrative functions supporting freight and depot operations. Supervise an admin team, coordinate transport documentation, handle customer enquiries, maintain records and reporting, support process improvements, and promote safety and service excellence.
