Supervise transport operations across designated areas, leading teams, enforcing safety and standard operating procedures, monitoring KPIs, improving processes, and resolving delivery issues. The role requires strong communication, accountability, customer focus, problem-solving, and the ability to perform under pressure. Responsibilities include driving operational performance, coordinating cross-functional support, and maintaining high service standards while fostering team development and a safety-first culture.

Supervise daily pickup and delivery freight operations at Hobart Airport, coordinating drivers, vehicles, forklifts, dockhands, and labor resources. Monitor service performance, productivity, DIFOT outcomes, fleet utilization, and route execution. Lead frontline teams, conduct safety briefings, ensure Chain of Responsibility and WHS compliance, resolve operational issues, and implement continuous improvements while maintaining safe, timely, and customer-focused service delivery.

Partners with operational leaders to provide commercial advice, deliver monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, analyze costs and performance drivers, develop business cases, and translate financial insights into practical recommendations. The role requires strong stakeholder management, commercial judgment, analytical capability, and the ability to influence decisions in a complex, fast-paced organization.
