Own full-cycle recruiting for TAR’s San Francisco R&D team across robotics, hardware, and software. Responsibilities include sourcing passive candidates, advising hiring leaders, managing structured interviews in Ashby, closing offers, improving candidate experience, strengthening employer brand, and analyzing recruiting metrics. The recruiter will help scale hiring rapidly while recruiting technical talent from engineering and related industries.

Own day-to-day execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects from planning through commissioning. Build and maintain project schedules, control costs and change orders, administer EPC contracts, coordinate supply chain and field resources, identify and mitigate risks, and keep projects on schedule and budget.

Lead end-to-end recruiting: own pipeline strategy, outbound sourcing, and candidate experience. Partner with founders to define technical/executive profiles, run ATS workflows in Ashby, source and close hard-to-fill hires, track recruiting KPIs, manage compensation and equity benchmarking, own employer branding, and build the talent function and team over time.

Design and validate mechanical systems for deployment machines: chassis, drivetrains, manipulators, and end effectors. Produce CAD, detailed drawings, GD&T, and DFM handoff. Run FEA and fatigue analysis, build and test prototypes, and drive vendor relationships to scale prototypes into field-deployed fleets in harsh outdoor environments.

Lead end-to-end project finance for multi-GW off-grid renewable power projects: structure capital stacks, monetize tax credits, build and defend project finance models, manage diligence and lender/investor processes, ensure financeability of commercial and supply agreements, oversee post-close finance operations, and scale the project finance team.

Produce build-ready electrical designs for islanded behind-the-meter microgrids: single-line and three-line diagrams, wiring schedules, equipment sizing (conductors, OCPD, disconnects, switchgear) across MV/LV/DC, basis-of-design for the Engineer of Record, DC collection layouts, and maintain drawing sets through IFC for procurement and field execution.

Open, high-agency role at a company building off-grid, renewable-powered data center infrastructure. Candidates should be self-directed, driven, and intellectually curious. Responsibilities are flexible—successful applicants will define their role and contribute to hardware, software, operations, or construction to help deploy large-scale renewable power assets.

Manage end-to-end procurement activities: create and modify POs, draft and redline contracts from templates, resolve invoicing and PO mismatches with vendors, enter and maintain procurement data, assist implementation of P2P and contract management systems, run reports, and proofread procurement documents.

Work directly with founders to own unstructured, high-impact problems end-to-end: build financial models, run acquisitions, evaluate generation and monetization options, coordinate cross-functional teams, and stand up new workstreams until they have permanent owners.

Own development of behind-the-meter utility-scale solar and storage projects from site control through NTP. Lead permitting, land diligence, title work, environmental coordination, preliminary design alignment, site-owner relationships, and support financing due diligence. Regular on-site presence at West Texas project site; based in Austin.

Own end-to-end sourcing categories: develop short- and long-term strategies, run RFx and negotiations, manage vendor qualification and contracts, support engineering/construction procurements, improve processes and implement P2P/contract software, and mentor procurement specialists.

Own cost controls, forecasting, and reporting for utility-scale solar and storage campuses. Administer EPC and supplier contracts, track commitments and invoices, maintain project controls systems, build budgets and baselines, support project financing and lender reporting, and surface cost risks for resolution with procurement and construction teams.

Lead machine-level systems engineering for robotics: derive requirements from deployment targets, define use cases and interfaces, build error/performance budgets, run verification/validation, own safety architecture, support integration, field-commission devices, and drive cross-functional alignment.

Work directly with founders to drive multi-GW energy projects end-to-end: deliver construction and procurement milestones, lead special projects, support large-scale project and equity financing, hire across levels, and resolve urgent operational issues on-site.

Design and own electrical systems for off-grid deployment robots: end-to-end PCB design, power electronics and battery systems, motor drives integration, sensor and compute integration, EMI/EMC and safety, field bring-up and debugging, and manufacturer handoff for production.

Lead design and validation of islanded power controls and supervisory EMS for off-grid solar+storage data center campuses. Define control architecture, vendor specifications, EMT studies, real-time HIL validation, FAT/SAT protocols, and lead commissioning through energization while building the in-house EMS and controls team.

Manage day-to-day operations of the San Francisco robotics workshop: tools, equipment, contractors, purchasing, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory, shop safety, and operational projects to keep engineers unblocked.

Own the finance function: manage AP/AR, monthly close, project cost accounting, cash and banking, fraud controls, ERP/tool selection and implementation, tax and audit support, and build the accounting team and processes to scale multi-GW projects.

Work directly with founders to solve ambiguous, high-impact problems end-to-end: drive GW-scale project delivery, stand up new functions, remove engineering blockers, support financing workstreams, hire across levels, and handle on-site operational troubleshooting including travel to West Texas.

Build and own hardware test function for robotic systems: design fixtures and rigs, create test plans, instrument DAQ systems, run environmental and durability tests, diagnose root causes, build reliability models, and automate test reporting to qualify machines for field deployment.
