The role targets construction, defense, agriculture, law enforcement, and infrastructure customers and requires substantial regional travel for deployments, negotiations, and trade shows.

Designs and implements scalable, high-performance backend services and customer-facing APIs using AWS. Responsibilities include AWS architecture, large-scale system design, third-party API integrations, mobile feature development, technology strategy, CI/CD, testing, and collaboration with product and engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Ensure product quality across API, web, and mobile applications by analyzing requirements, creating test cases and plans, executing tests, documenting defects, analyzing leakage, communicating risks, and collaborating with development, product, design, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.

Designs, develops, and deploys scalable, resilient backend applications and APIs using TypeScript and AWS cloud services. Responsibilities include managing infrastructure with AWS CDK, working with DynamoDB and Lambda, collaborating with frontend and product teams, writing testable code, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and applying AWS best practices.

Own Defend’s organic social strategy across major platforms, including content planning, platform-native creation, publishing, community engagement, social listening, analytics, testing, and optimization. The role requires personally shooting and editing content, developing brand voice, engaging customers, identifying advocates, translating product information into compelling stories, and using performance insights to improve content and support business growth.
