Designs and analyzes rugged electro-mechanical computer packaging using CFD and FEA. Creates 2D/3D models, fabrication and assembly drawings, bills of material, specifications, and engineering documentation. Supports product requirements, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, vendors, customers, design reviews, environmental testing, sustaining engineering, and engineering change processes. Requires mechanical engineering knowledge, thermal and structural analysis capabilities, CAD/CAE proficiency, and experience with electro-mechanical equipment packaging.

Performs CFD and FEA simulations, thermal and airflow analysis, mechanical design, documentation, prototyping, testing, and sustaining engineering for rugged electro-mechanical products. Creates detailed drawings, specifications, bills of material, work instructions, and engineering changes. Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales, vendors, and customers throughout the product development cycle, supporting design verification, environmental testing, production, and product improvements.

Leads business solutions initiatives by analyzing processes, gathering requirements, designing and implementing technology solutions, and coordinating delivery with business and IT stakeholders. Provides functional leadership, prioritizes initiatives, manages business systems improvements, and oversees ongoing optimization, standardization, automation, and maintenance to improve operational efficiency and organizational value.

Conduct automated and manual testing of rugged computer systems, including hardware, software, operating systems, BIOS/UEFI, networks, and peripherals. Diagnose board- and component-level issues using schematics and electronic measurement tools, analyze performance data, document defects in JIRA, verify compliance with specifications and military requirements, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Designs, builds, supports, and improves Microsoft-based business solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform. Translates business requirements into technical designs, workflows, integrations, and automation while supporting identity, access, security, governance, testing, training, troubleshooting, releases, and adoption. Partners with business and IT stakeholders to improve efficiency, collaboration, data visibility, reliability, and maintainability.

Manages full-cycle recruiting for production, skilled trades, engineering, technical, compliance, and corporate roles. Develops sourcing strategies, builds candidate pipelines, conducts screenings, coordinates interviews, manages offers and recruiting records, and supports onboarding. Partners with hiring managers, universities, workforce organizations, and staffing agencies. Maintains legal compliance, contributes to employer branding and workforce programs, supports internships, and may facilitate orientations and exit interviews. Travel may include recruiting events and university partnerships.

Design and optimize manufacturing systems for aerospace-focused products. Implement lean methodologies, improve floor layouts and capacity planning, specify tooling and equipment, and collaborate with quality, supply chain, and design teams to transition products from prototype to production.

Evaluate, select, and qualify electronic and mechanical components for rugged aerospace systems. Manage obsolescence, vendor review, supplier issues, and compliance with aerospace standards. Maintain component databases, internal part numbers, and technical documentation while supporting hardware design and sourcing teams.
