Develops program documentation, dashboards, reporting materials, escalation frameworks, and technology business requirements. Partners with Legal, Compliance, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Source to Pay, and supplier management teams. Coaches junior staff, manages workstreams, supports compliance testing, and drives simplification and operational excellence across the Supplier Risk Management Program.

Supports cash accounting processes, including daily balancing of customer payment activity, disbursements, month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations. The role researches reconciling items, documents root causes, monitors aged items, supports governance initiatives, prepares job aids, handles reporting requests, and implements process improvements. Strong accounting, analytical, communication, organizational, and follow-up skills are required, with experience in GL or balance-sheet reconciliation preferred.

Verifies suspicious transactions through inbound and outbound customer calls, processes lost or stolen reports, identifies unusual account activity, handles referred credit applications, follows compliance procedures, and meets customer service, quality, productivity, and call-handling metrics.

Supports long-term strategy and growth planning for Synchrony’s Diversified & Value Platform. Lead architecture and development of cloud-native, microservices-based consumer banking applications. Drive solution and event-driven design, CI/CD (Jenkins/Bitbucket/uDeploy), PCF deployments, Spring Boot/Cloud development, REST APIs, data modeling, production troubleshooting, on-call support, mentoring, and Agile/SAFe delivery while ensuring architecture and security compliance.

Leads software development teams across the Agile lifecycle, delivering high-scale front-end and full-stack applications.
