Own technical program execution for Strava for Business, driving concurrent cross-functional initiatives from scoping through delivery. Manage planning cadences, intake and triage, prioritization, sequencing, risk identification, and dependency coordination across engineering, product, business, partnerships, and sales stakeholders. Ensure roadmap capabilities ship reliably and predictably while independently resolving ambiguity and unblocking teams.

Investigate root causes of product and business performance, develop novel statistical approaches, advise data science and analytics teams, and communicate findings to technical and executive stakeholders.

Lead data science measurement strategy for Strava’s production ML products. Define evaluation frameworks, offline and online metrics, quality standards, experimentation, monitoring, drift detection, and validation strategies. Identify AI/ML opportunities, translate ambiguous business needs into initiatives, and guide machine learning engineers and cross-functional partners toward high-impact improvements in data and model quality.

Lead and manage a team of 7 Executive Business Partners while embedding in the CEO's office. Own the CEO's operational rhythm, prioritize calendar and communications, prepare executive briefings, coordinate complex travel and budgets, drive cross-functional initiatives, and develop team standards, accountability, and performance through coaching and performance management.

Build and lead Strava’s procurement function, including its operating model, policies, systems, team, and sourcing strategy. Personally negotiate major enterprise SaaS and technology agreements, deliver Finance-validated savings, manage renewals, rationalize vendors, and provide executive spend visibility. Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, and Security on contracting, controls, vendor reviews, and audit requirements.

Advises Brand, Growth Marketing, Engineering, Security, and Customer Experience teams on legal risk. Builds scalable legal frameworks and playbooks, manages outside counsel, and uses AI tools to improve legal operations. Requires independent judgment across complex, commercially focused matters.

Leads a backend engineering team responsible for Strava’s subscription and payment infrastructure and user-facing products. Owns the technical roadmap, architecture, reliability, incident response, and delivery of critical systems. Remains hands-on with coding and technical design while hiring, coaching, and developing engineers. Partners with product, design, accounting, and marketing to prioritize work and balance platform investment with product delivery.

Leads a 12-person engineering team responsible for Strava’s social and community features. Sets technical and product direction, owns the engineering roadmap, partners with Product and Design, makes technical trade-offs, ensures system reliability and scalability, hires talent, and develops managers and senior engineers.

Lead and execute Strava's corporate security program and enterprise security engineering roadmap. Manage a small engineering team, design and operate identity, endpoint, network, email and SaaS security, and build operating models combining internal engineering with vendor partners. Architect identity and access management, Zero Trust, device hardening and automation, vulnerability management, enterprise AI and data security, and partner cross-functionally on secure-by-default experiences and corporate incident response.

Provide day-to-day commercial legal support for Strava for Business and cross-functional teams: draft and negotiate vendor, partnership, data protection, API, licensing, and sponsored challenge agreements; create legal playbooks, FAQs, training, and self-service enablement materials; balance business objectives with legal risk and advise stakeholders across the organization.

Lead and scale detection and response across cloud, endpoint, and application layers. Own logging and telemetry pipelines, run incident command, mature detection engineering, manage vendors and SOC modernization (automation/AI), conduct threat hunting, and deliver executive reporting while building and coaching a small team.
