Leads Strava and Runna’s trademark and patent portfolios, IP enforcement and litigation, cybersecurity legal matters, and law enforcement data requests. Advises Brand, Growth Marketing, Engineering, Security, and Customer Experience teams on legal risk. Builds scalable legal frameworks and playbooks, manages outside counsel, and uses AI tools to improve legal operations. Requires independent judgment across complex, commercially focused matters.

Leads a backend engineering team responsible for Strava’s subscription and payment infrastructure and user-facing products. Owns the technical roadmap, architecture, reliability, incident response, and delivery of critical systems. Remains hands-on with coding and technical design while hiring, coaching, and developing engineers. Partners with product, design, accounting, and marketing to prioritize work and balance platform investment with product delivery.

Leads a 12-person engineering team responsible for Strava’s social and community features. Sets technical and product direction, owns the engineering roadmap, partners with Product and Design, makes technical trade-offs, ensures system reliability and scalability, hires talent, and develops managers and senior engineers.
