Requires basic mechanical aptitude, fabrication skills, and 1–2 years of related experience or training is preferred.

The Application Engineer will analyze project weather profiles, design thermal performance models, assess financial impacts, and support business development through technical writing and presentations.

Assists Senior Project Managers throughout project lifecycles, including kickoff, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contracts, documentation, inspections, fabrication, installation, startup, closeout, warranty support, and audits. Coordinates clients, vendors, subcontractors, technicians, and internal departments; supports change orders, project reporting, NPI gate reviews, and corrective actions. Manage small-to-medium complex projects from inception to close: lead kick-offs, create execution plans and budgets, monitor schedules and cash flow, coordinate internal teams, vendors and contractors, oversee fabrication/installation/start-up, handle change orders, audits, NPI gate reviews, and warranty corrective actions.

Produce technical drawings and 3D models for electrical and controls systems for modular cooling plants. Coordinate with engineers and designers, prepare schematics, I/O and loop diagrams, bills of materials, support procurement, manufacturing, testing and commissioning, and provide technical bid support.

Coordinates and maintains employee training programs and records within a manufacturing facility. Develops electrical, operations, safety, and policy curricula; creates manuals, assessments, exercises, and practicums; delivers classroom and varied-format training; and trains management on initiatives. Observes operations to identify training needs, tracks completion and retraining requirements, supports skilled-trades development, and participates in ISO 9001 and other audits.

Lead and manage mechanical engineering and design teams to develop modular cooling plants. Perform mechanical design, equipment selection, piping and stress analysis, prepare engineering deliverables, support bids, vendor evaluations, factory/site supervision, and provide technical support throughout procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.

Manage supplier quality by auditing and approving vendors, conducting facility visits and ISO 9001 audits, inspecting incoming materials, maintaining supplier scorecards and defect reports, advising suppliers on corrective actions, liaising with management and vendors, and preparing for audits.

Install, align, and assemble large industrial piping systems and mechanical equipment; read blueprints; perform hydrostatic testing (150psi); operate cranes/forklifts; install valves, pumps, chillers, supports; document quality and prepare for ISO 9001 audits; supervise helpers and follow safety/OSHA requirements.

Designs and implements PLC, HMI, networking, and control systems for automated cooling, CHP, and mission-critical plants. Responsibilities include component selection, functional specifications, application programming, system testing, commissioning, technical coordination, customer support, and training. The role also directs controls designer workloads and supports sales proposals. It is Jacksonville-based, non-remote, and requires approximately 20% travel to fabrication facilities and customer job sites.

Perform welding on structural plate and 6G pipe using SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW. Read blueprints and WPS/PQRs, prepare/fit materials, inspect and repair welds, operate cranes/forklifts, follow safety/OSHA and ISO 9001 procedures, and support fabrication assembly and quality requirements.

Perform pipe layout, joining, hanger/support installation, hydrostatic testing at 150 PSI, rigging, and operate cranes/forklifts. Maintain quality documentation, support ISO 9001 audits, follow safety/PPE standards, and mentor less-experienced pipefitters.

Lead root-cause analysis and permanent solutions for complex manufacturing issues. Develop scalable processes, documentation, inventory/layout optimization, and Lean improvements. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Materials, and Project teams to improve production, quality, and audit readiness.
