Assists the Patient Care Manager with clinical and administrative leadership for assigned patient care units or shifts. Supervises nursing staff, coordinates patient care operations, supports orientation and performance management, monitors care quality and outcomes, implements policies, mentors staff, and participates in process improvement, risk management, and program planning. Provides direct patient care as needed and serves as a liaison to the Patient Care Manager.

Supervises hospital staffing office operations, including employee scheduling, shift coverage, payroll coordination, assignments, training, onboarding, performance evaluations, and staffing projects.
