Reviews clinical complaints, grievances, appeals, and inpatient/outpatient medical records for regulatory compliance and patient safety concerns. Coordinates investigations with medical staff, clinical leaders, Patient Relations, Risk, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs. Develops formal responses, documents resolutions, escalates concerns, and supports improvement initiatives. Serves as a nonclinical patient and family liaison, navigator, and concierge, connecting families with hospital services and resolving concerns during care encounters.

Provides independent, family-centered nursing care to critically ill pediatric, adolescent, and adult cardiac patients in a CVICU. Applies the nursing process, evidence-based practice, safety and quality improvement methods, clinical technology, teamwork, and leadership. Coordinates care with interdisciplinary teams, supports patients and families through complex and end-of-life decisions, mentors colleagues, and contributes to practice improvements and organizational goals.

Provides independent, patient- and family-centered nursing care to critically ill pediatric and adult cardiac patients in a CVICU. Manages complex assignments, coordinates interdisciplinary care, applies evidence-based practice, supports safety and quality improvement, uses clinical information systems, mentors colleagues, and participates in leadership and professional development. Required patients may include those receiving advanced cardiac therapies such as ECMO, heart transplants, and ventricular assist devices.
