Manages sales, profitability, customer accounts, OEMs, and distributors across the Northeast U.S. and Eastern Canada. Develops new business, implements sales programs, supports pricing and quoting, monitors competition, coordinates technical and customer satisfaction activities, delivers presentations and distributor training, and maintains forecasts, reports, itineraries, and CRM records. This remote outside-sales role requires 50% to 60% travel and responsibility for sales projects worth $7M to $15M.

Manages technical sales for Stabilus products across the U.S. West Coast and Canada. Responsibilities include meeting sales and profit goals, developing and managing accounts, supporting OEM and distributor channels, implementing sales programs, preparing forecasts and reports, conducting customer presentations, and coordinating technical and customer satisfaction activities. The role requires substantial customer travel, independent decision-making, and management of sales projects valued at $7M to $15M.

Develops gas spring application and product solutions for automotive customers, ensuring technical deliverables meet customer requirements, timing, quality, and profitability goals. Plans development milestones, supports product launches and manufacturing, resolves technical issues through root-cause analysis, benchmarks competitors, and improves application development methods and tools. Requires collaboration with OEM and Tier 1 customers, local customer travel, and occasional out-of-state travel.

Leads U.S. export compliance across ACE Controls and Destaco, including product classification, export filings, licensing, restricted-party screening, government registrations, training, regulatory monitoring, documentation, audits, and corrective actions. Partners with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Legal, and Compliance teams to support defense-related and commercial products while protecting controlled technical information and ensuring adherence to applicable U.S. export laws.

Designs and applies Stabilus linear actuators and Powerise products for industrial customer applications. Sizes standard products, designs custom solutions, creates CAD drawings, supports prototypes and production launches, conducts validation testing, analyzes failures, and recommends corrective actions. Provides technical support and training to sales teams, distributors, and customers, negotiates technical agreements, handles engineering changes, and participates in customer visits, trade shows, and quality investigations.

Supervises production planning for U.S. operations, including master scheduling, job prioritization, supplier releases, inventory coordination, expedited materials, engineering changes, and customer demand fluctuations. The role balances production capacity and headcount, monitors logistics and shipment performance, resolves inventory discrepancies, supports PPAP timing, manages departmental budgets, and leads cross-functional teams. Travel to customers and Stabilus facilities may be required.

Leads manufacturing process design, optimization, automation, cost reduction, capital equipment projects, APQP product launches, and cross-functional initiatives across assembly, machining, painting, material handling, and printing. Applies quality Core Tools, develops Creo models and tooling designs, supports production performance, and manages project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
