Supports community members with social assistance applications, eligibility assessments, referrals, budgeting workshops, disability forms, and resource planning. Maintains confidential client records, tracks rent, utilities, repayments, budgets, and program documentation. Advocates for client rights, coordinates with employment and health and social development teams, prepares reports, and follows applicable policies and procedures.

Provide administrative and reception support to the Employment Division: maintain filing systems and databases, enter and compile data for reports, manage mail and supplies, prepare newsletters and communications, and help maintain a welcoming office environment.

Provides strategic and operational HR support across multiple entities, advising leaders on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, organizational development, compliance, investigations, conflict resolution, training, accommodations, and return-to-work plans. The role develops HR resources and recommendations, supports consistent practices, and fosters culturally safe workplaces. It requires progressive HR experience, strong knowledge of British Columbia employment legislation, excellent communication skills, and a valid Class 5 driver's license.

Develops and delivers culturally centered traditional wellness programs for First Nations community members. Provides individualized wellness plans, trauma-informed support, cultural education, ceremonies, workshops, and community engagement. Builds partnerships with health and social service providers, mentors staff and volunteers, supervises practicum students, facilitates groups, and maintains client documentation and program reports. Requires extensive knowledge of First Nations traditions, holistic health, cultural protocols, and Indigenous cultural safety.

Supports culturally informed community engagement through event and meeting coordination, outreach, communications, surveys, focus groups, and feedback tracking. Represents the organization at community events, conducts door-to-door outreach, maintains engagement records and calendars, prepares materials and reports, and builds relationships with community members, departments, partners, and stakeholders. Provides administrative support while applying trauma-informed and culturally safe practices in Indigenous community settings.

Seabird Island seeks qualified Indigenous coaches to provide holistic one-hour coaching (mental, emotional, spiritual, physical) to staff and Council. Coaches must be available Monday–Friday, hold formal coaching certification, have experience working with Indigenous communities, and join a roster for on-call assignments. Applicants submit cover letter, proof of certification, resume/CV, references, and rates.

Design and implement census-style surveys, lead data collection and validation, analyze and weight datasets, integrate administrative sources, produce equity-focused labour market insights, engage community stakeholders, and deliver reports and dashboards to inform workforce planning and policy.
