Candidates should have over eight years of professional experience and practical Bitcoin and Lightning Network expertise.

Develop and maintain the open-source Lightning Development Kit, including writing and reviewing Rust code, improving testing infrastructure, supporting language bindings, and implementing Lightning Network and Bitcoin features such as splicing, dual-funded channels, Taproot, BOLT 12, VSS, and anchor outputs. Engineers also assist LDK users and contributors, improve performance and scalability, document the project, and pursue independent Bitcoin-related projects.
