Coordinates area sales activities by processing customer and representative communications, preparing quotes, verifying purchase orders, tracking orders from quote through delivery, and facilitating information flow among customers, sales, engineering, production, and shipping. Provides customer reports, manages approval and technical information requests, communicates delays, supports invoicing, and helps maintain customer satisfaction.

Manages sales across a defined territory, generating $17–22 million in annual revenue through customer and manufacturer representative relationships. Sets and monitors agent goals, develops territory strategies, prepares bids, recommends pricing, evaluates competitors, ensures product compliance with customer specifications, negotiates sales terms, provides technical guidance, and maintains performance reporting. The role also supports order expediting and collections and requires 40%–60% domestic travel.

Drive strategic revenue growth across utility and heavy industrial markets by identifying capital projects, developing executive relationships, influencing specifications, positioning electrical power solutions, and managing long-term sales pipelines. Lead technical and commercial solution development for reactive power, substation, and grid modernization products. Support proposals, negotiations, forecasting, competitive intelligence, and account expansion while managing complex utility procurement processes and multi-million-dollar equipment deals.

Lead design and optimization of multilevel high-voltage converters, drive prototyping and hardware integration, perform simulation and testing (MATLAB/Simulink, LTSpice, PLECS), ensure EMI/thermal compliance, mentor junior engineers, manage component obsolescence, and produce technical documentation for renewable energy and grid applications.

Design and prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and bills of material for high-voltage switch products; perform related electrical, mechanical, and structural calculations; process production orders; implement assigned drawing changes; assist with product erection and testing as needed.

Create and peer-review 2D/3D drawing packages for high-voltage switchgear using SolidWorks/AutoCAD, perform static analysis and mechanical/structural/electrical calculations, apply GD&T, support customers, participate in design reviews, maintain product knowledge, manage project records, and provide site startup/integration/training (travel <10%).

Design and develop embedded hardware from prototype to production: create schematics and PCB layouts, build and test embedded systems and board-test firmware, troubleshoot EMI/EMC and environmental issues, and coordinate with manufacturers and team members.
