Entry-level electrical design engineer supporting motor automation and switchgear system design. Create schematics, 2D/3D drawings, BOMs, and PCB designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Support prototyping, lab testing, documentation, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement under senior engineer guidance.

Serve as liaison between customers, agents, and internal teams to provide quotes, process orders and RFIs/RFQs in Salesforce and company systems, give minor technical support, expedite orders, handle warranty and after-sales issues, follow ISO procedures, and support sales upsell efforts.

Lead development of mechanical and electrical drawing packages for medium/high-voltage substation equipment. Ensure compliance with industry standards, coordinate structural and electrical integration, mentor junior designers, support proposals, drive standardization, troubleshoot fabrication/installation issues, and maintain schedules and quality deliverables.

Design and prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and bills of material for high-voltage switch products; perform related electrical, mechanical, and structural calculations; process production orders; implement assigned drawing changes; assist with product erection and testing as needed.

Lead design and optimization of multilevel high-voltage converters, drive prototyping and hardware integration, perform simulation and testing (MATLAB/Simulink, LTSpice, PLECS), ensure EMI/thermal compliance, mentor junior engineers, manage component obsolescence, and produce technical documentation for renewable energy and grid applications.

Lead and supervise assembly and testing teams for medium/high-voltage electrical products. Ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, efficiency, training, and production reporting. Read prints and troubleshoot using wiring diagrams; plan material flow and staffing; drive continuous improvement and compliance.

Manage employer-employee relations by investigating complaints, administering CBAs, advising management on policies and discipline, conducting trainings and surveys, ensuring legal compliance, and partnering on engagement and retention initiatives.

Entry-level Project Design Engineer supporting mobile projects: design and model components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, create drawings, parts lists, and prototypes, provide technical support to manufacturing and field installation, conduct research and design proposals, and develop into lead on multiple projects under Chief Engineer oversight.

Manage vendor relationships, cost control, and new vendor development. Support sourcing manager on cost-reduction, forecasting, open-order analysis/rescheduling, training buyers, and vendor site visits to ensure timely parts delivery.
