Support DevOps/MLOps for a Battle Management System team by designing, optimizing, and maintaining secure, automated CI/CD and MLOps pipelines across Windows and Linux, enabling rapid, compliant deployment of software and AI models.

Provide configuration management support for the Combat System Simulations program: CM planning, identification, control, status accounting, audits, data and repository management. Serve as meeting secretariat, track action items, generate CDRLs and monthly status reports, prepare IPR presentations, perform QA on configuration data, and develop/maintain SOPs and processes.

Design and develop custom PCBs and harnesses using ARM-based microcontrollers for Battle Management Systems. Create technical design packages and fabrication/assembly instructions, assist with troubleshooting, integration, and testing, and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, embedded software, and QA teams to meet performance and schedule requirements.

Plan, execute, and report developmental and system-level software and weapon systems tests in lab and field. Develop testable requirements, strategies, and detailed procedures; perform verification, validation, performance, and acceptance testing; troubleshoot with developers; support installations, integrations, and travel for testing events.

Perform IV&V and system testing of the MK 160 Gun Weapons System to verify requirements compliance. Develop test plans/procedures, execute manual and automated tests, conduct regression and endurance testing, document results, and ensure DoD/DON testing standards are met.

Develop, integrate, test, and deploy modern C++ software for real-time tactical and simulation applications. Work with engineers and stakeholders to define architecture, create and execute test plans, collect and analyze test data, document results, and support iterative prototype development and system improvements.

Provide software configuration management support for the AEGIS program including CCB support, maintaining CM processes and SOPs, generating reports, performing audits, QA of configuration data, and attending milestone meetings.

Support weapon system rapid acquisition and tactical prototyping by planning and executing land and shipboard electronic tests, collecting and analyzing test data, documenting results, maintaining custom test equipment, troubleshooting failures, and supporting packaging and P&ID layouts.

Design and maintain relational and non-relational schemas, develop logical/physical data models, normalize and integrate structured and unstructured data, build ETL/ELT pipelines, define enterprise data ontology and mappings, tune performance, support metadata, data lineage, governance, and collaborate across teams to standardize data definitions.

Design, implement, and manage security architecture and tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls). Lead incident detection/response, vulnerability management, risk/compliance activities, mentor junior staff, coordinate projects, and advise on securing DoD/classified environments.

Perform physical configuration audits for Aegis Combat Systems aboard DDG-51 destroyers and warehouses; use ABACAS and ACCESS to capture, upload, and reconcile CI data; generate CM issues; coordinate with ship personnel and Dahlgren analysts; support CM process/SOP development; provide metrics and deliverables for audits and contract reporting.

Support weapon system rapid acquisition and tactical prototyping by performing systems engineering, risk and hazard analyses, requirements derivation and management, coordination with stakeholders, and guiding design/integration and iterative testing toward system accreditation.

Develop multi-threat, multi-warforce training scenarios in ATD, ACTS, and BFTT for shipboard systems supporting the Surface Combat Systems Training Center. Role requires U.S. citizenship, active Secret clearance, and at least four years AEGIS/SSDS shipboard combat systems experience with CIC watch-standing deployments.

Design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient tactical network architectures for a weapon system program. Collaborate with hardware, embedded software, and test teams; ensure DoD compliance, perform troubleshooting, integration testing, documentation, and validate network configurations prior to deployment.

Lead R&D efforts to design, prototype, and deploy AI/ML (primarily computer vision and edge inference) solutions for defense customers. Translate operational requirements into demonstrable, edge-optimized systems, mentor junior developers, establish engineering standards, and support proposals and technical briefings. Maintain prototype pipeline, manage technical risks, and integrate AI into training and simulation environments.

Apply MBSE principles and tools to develop SysML/UML system models, define and trace requirements, support software architecture and integration, produce ICDs and verification artifacts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the system lifecycle for tactical weapon and battle management systems.

Develop and test embedded weapon control system software on microcontrollers, build simulators with GUIs, debug hardware-software interfaces, diagnose network issues, write unit tests, and support field installation and assessment across multiple projects.

Plan, execute, and report developmental and system-level testing of manned aircraft Battle Management System software and integrations in lab and field, develop test strategies and procedures, troubleshoot with developers, support installations and travel, and ensure verification, validation, and performance prior to delivery to warfighters.

Perform IV&V of CAST operator training lessons for shipboard systems, identify content discrepancies, participate in adjudication meetings, revise lessons through lifecycle, and interface with customers and management.

Support design, requirements definition, and integration of a weapon control system. Develop MBSE models, attend design reviews and IPTs, work with stakeholders across engineering disciplines, assess performance, and produce system plans, requirements, and documentation. CONUS travel 1–2 weeks per month.
