Administer and configure networks supporting tactical gun weapon systems in afloat and laboratory environments. Plan and test network devices, maintain multiple operating environments, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, install releases and patches, and improve development and test environments. Conduct security assessments using Department of Defense tools, address vulnerabilities and DISA STIG findings, and collaborate with cybersecurity engineers, system administrators, engineers, and developers.

Develop and maintain a hardware configuration management database tool, drawing repositories, and change-control workflows. Responsibilities include software design, development, testing, documentation, API and SQL integration, baseline and revision control, reporting, automation, backlog management, and process improvement. The role requires collaboration across multiple projects and may involve weapon system integration, military standards, GPS, sensor systems, and safety interlock circuitry.

Designs, develops, integrates, tests, and deploys modern C++ software for real-time tactical and simulation applications. Collaborates with engineering teams, stakeholders, and end users on architecture, requirements, prototyping, and iterative testing. Develops test cases, analyzes system and test data, prepares technical reports and documentation, and supports project reviews for weapon and combat management systems.

Develop, integrate, test, and deploy modern C++ software for real-time tactical and simulation applications supporting weapon system programs. Collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, end-users, and management on requirements, architecture, prototyping, verification, and iterative testing. Create test plans and cases, analyze performance and test data, document results, prepare reports, and participate in project reviews. The role is on-site in Dahlgren, Virginia and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Supports a weapon system program by analyzing program effectiveness, requirements, regulations, and operational information. Acts as a liaison among engineers, scientists, logistics, testers, and stakeholders; researches and refines technical materials; facilitates communication; prepares and edits reports, presentations, and technical documentation; and tracks documents through review and approval. Develops and decomposes requirements, assesses operational performance, creates MBSE models, supports design reviews and working groups, and develops solutions for software- and hardware-centric projects. Collaborates with customers, end-users, engineers, government agencies, contractors, and military personnel while documenting and communicating system plans, progress, and results.

Design and maintain relational and non-relational schemas, develop logical/physical data models, normalize and integrate structured and unstructured data, build ETL/ELT pipelines, define enterprise data ontology and mappings, tune performance, support metadata, data lineage, governance, and collaborate across teams to standardize data definitions.

Support design, requirements definition, and integration of a weapon control system. Develop MBSE models, attend design reviews and IPTs, work with stakeholders across engineering disciplines, assess performance, and produce system plans, requirements, and documentation. CONUS travel 1–2 weeks per month.

Lead enterprise data architecture and ontology development, design logical and physical data models, drive cross-system integration and data governance, define strategies for unstructured data, optimize performance and scalability, mentor database developers, and align stakeholders on enterprise-wide data standards.

Support weapon system rapid acquisition and tactical prototyping by performing systems engineering, risk and hazard analyses, requirements derivation and management, coordination with stakeholders, and guiding design/integration and iterative testing toward system accreditation.

Provide configuration management support for the Combat System Simulations program: CM planning, identification, control, status accounting, audits, data and repository management. Serve as meeting secretariat, track action items, generate CDRLs and monthly status reports, prepare IPR presentations, perform QA on configuration data, and develop/maintain SOPs and processes.

Design and develop custom PCBs and harnesses using ARM-based microcontrollers for Battle Management Systems. Create technical design packages and fabrication/assembly instructions, assist with troubleshooting, integration, and testing, and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, embedded software, and QA teams to meet performance and schedule requirements.
