The Chief Accounting Officer leads enterprise accounting, financial reporting, close and consolidation, SEC reporting readiness, audit relationships, technical accounting, SOX controls, inventory and plant cost accounting, and transaction accounting. The role modernizes ERP and reporting infrastructure, improves process automation, develops accounting talent, and partners with operational and executive teams across decentralized facilities. It is based in Seattle with a hybrid schedule and periodic facility travel.

Manages state, local, federal, and Alaska-specific tax compliance, including filings, payments, audits, licenses, property taxes, sales taxes, B&O taxes, and K-1 distributions. Researches tax regulations, identifies savings opportunities, maintains tax databases, supports audits, and recommends compliant tax strategies. The role also handles financial reporting, data analysis, regulatory submissions, and coordination with internal stakeholders and authorities.
