Develops metrology and inspection methods for semiconductor component manufacturing. Analyzes measurement accuracy, precision, and process capability; leads root-cause and corrective-action activities; supports equipment selection, calibration, quality-system compliance, and continuous improvement. Uses CMMs, optical and laser systems, statistics, DOE, Six Sigma, GD&T, SPC, and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve dimensional control, product quality, and manufacturing performance.

Leads manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, overhead rates, inventory valuation, variance analysis, month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Partners with operations, supply chain, engineering, and finance teams to provide actionable insights, support business cases, improve processes and controls, coordinate audits, and enhance ERP, reporting, and automation capabilities.

Develop and optimize scalable silicon crystal manufacturing processes from applied research through mass production. Conduct experiments, materials characterization, multiphysics simulations, statistical analysis, and machine learning applications to improve yield, quality, efficiency, and equipment intelligence. Provide technical oversight of crystal-growth equipment, lead manufacturing-floor initiatives, communicate process performance and project plans, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, technicians, and research teams in a matrixed environment.

Lead global sourcing and supplier management for materials, equipment, and services. Develop supply chain strategy, negotiate contracts, assess supplier capabilities, manage risks and contingencies, drive continuous improvement, and lead cross-functional projects to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.

Leads software controls engineering for Czochralski crystal-growth equipment, developing PLC, HMI, MES, vision-control, and automation solutions. Improves equipment reliability, throughput, connectivity, and autonomy; supports commissioning, maintenance, root-cause analysis, validation, change control, and manufacturing data analysis. Partners with internal teams and suppliers, manages improvement projects, and provides off-hours equipment support while applying lean manufacturing and safety practices.

Develops, optimizes, controls, and qualifies EDM machining processes for silicon and brittle materials used in semiconductor applications. Leads process improvement, root cause analysis, design of experiments, FMEA, SPC, Lean initiatives, technical documentation, and equipment capability enhancements. Collaborates with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Maintenance to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and process robustness while serving as the EDM subject matter expert.

Leads technical training strategy and execution for a dynamic manufacturing operations workforce. Develops skills matrices, training curricula, certification programs, trainer development, and learning management processes. Partners with operations, HR, and IT to scale training, reduce new-hire productivity ramp time, maintain ISO compliance, measure effectiveness, and implement improvements. Manages training calendars, milestones, external resources, and cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Leads Lean, continuous improvement, and industrial engineering initiatives across manufacturing and business operations. Responsibilities include operational data analysis, waste elimination, labor optimization, capacity modeling, workflow and layout optimization, value stream mapping, bottleneck analysis, standard work, and change management. The role partners cross-functionally to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, throughput, and profitability while driving sustainable results without direct authority.

Provide hands-on service desk support in office and manufacturing environments. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, install and configure computers and IT equipment, manage support tickets, maintain equipment inventory, train users, support software and hardware procurement, document processes, and provide on-call coverage in a bring-your-own-device environment.

Leads supplier and internal reliability engineering for custom machines, automation, tooling, equipment, and manufacturing processes. Uses FMEA, failure analysis, maintenance strategies, and reliability metrics to improve uptime, capability, maintainability, safety, quality, and cost. Manages machine development from concept through commissioning, leads supplier problem solving and corrective actions, coordinates cross-functional projects, supports high-precision manufacturing processes, and mentors engineers and designers. Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally is required.

Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing processes for silicon components, including machining, lapping, polishing, and cleanroom operations. Coordinates equipment installation and qualification, creates manufacturing methods from customer drawings, applies lean manufacturing and problem-solving tools, performs dimensional and surface-finish measurements, and uses SPC and MSA. Supports material review, process control, quality procedures, reporting, safety compliance, and special engineering projects.

Lead and develop a manufacturing engineering team to improve product quality, reduce defects, and eliminate waste using Lean and data-driven methods. Drive SPC, root-cause analysis, process capability evaluations, equipment validation, and cross-functional continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance first-pass yield, reduce scrap, and optimize throughput.

The Program/Project Manager is accountable for overseeing project execution, coordinating resources, managing risks, ensuring project success, and fostering collaboration across teams.

Lead development, optimization, and control of wet silicon etch processes for semiconductor components.
