Build an organization-wide culture of safety, environmental stewardship, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Architects, designs, and deploys deterministic industrial automation control software and electrical systems for production-scale materials processing equipment. Responsibilities include PLC programming in Structured Text, HMI development, industrial networking, electrical design, functional safety, system integration, troubleshooting, FAT/SAT validation, technical documentation, vendor engagement, and mentoring controls engineers.

Lead FEED and construction for large-scale capital projects using modular construction. Oversee budgets, schedules, contractors, safety, grant compliance, and project teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

The Process Engineer designs and optimizes chemical processes, oversees process performance, troubleshoots issues, ensures safety compliance, and leads engineering projects while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Develop bespoke software solutions to enhance battery data management and user interaction. Collaborate with various teams to optimize workflows and ensure data integrity through advanced architecture and visualization.

Lead quality systems and controls across lithium-ion cell production and CM sites. Manage IQC/IPQC/OQC/ORT, drive RCCA/8D, implement SPC and metrology, define PFMEAs and control plans, execute reliability testing, monitor quality metrics and lot disposition, and ensure production-level compliance with battery safety standards. Travel to contract manufacturers in Asia (~30–40%).

Partners with business units on budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and financial strategy. Develops financial models, conducts variance analysis, creates reports and presentations, and provides actionable insights to senior management. Owns key financial systems, including SAGE X3, and leads financial-system implementation, integration, automation, and process improvements. The role is onsite at the Alameda campus.

Leads annual budgeting and reforecasting, partners with business units, analyzes budget-to-actual performance, builds financial models, and presents reports to executives. The role improves financial systems and processes, supports enhancement projects, conducts portfolio analysis, and mentors finance team members. It requires strong financial modeling, communication, cross-functional partnership, and project management skills in an onsite manufacturing environment.

Lead mechanical design and development of manufacturing-scale reactor equipment, perform FEA/thermal/fluid analysis, create detailed engineering packages, drive safety-by-design and PSM activities, manage vendor/fabricator coordination and FAT/installation, and mentor junior engineers to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and compliance.

Design and develop manufacturing-scale reactors translating R&D concepts to capital projects. Perform FEA, thermal and fluid modeling; create equipment layouts, drawings, datasheets, and specs. Manage vendor/fabricator coordination, FAT, installation verification, and maintain compliant engineering documentation while prioritizing safety, manufacturability, reliability, and maintainability.

Design, implement, and document process control and instrumentation systems for production-scale materials equipment. Develop control strategies, P&IDs, cause-and-effect matrices, SIL/IPL verification, alarms, and HMIs. Participate in HAZOPs and safety reviews, source instrumentation and vendors, assist with hardware and code commissioning, and gather end-user feedback to refine controls and share best practices.

Lead the battery engineering team to deploy advanced technologies in various markets. Engage with suppliers and coach engineers in their professional growth while managing daily operations and team performance.

Develop and deploy manufacturing intelligence systems and machine learning models to enhance operational efficiency in production environments, collaborating across teams to achieve impactful solutions.

The Senior Engineer, Equipment will provide mechanical engineering support, troubleshoot production issues, enhance equipment reliability, manage design documentation, and collaborate with vendors to optimize production processes.

As a Senior Staff Quality Engineer, you will lead root cause analyses, oversee quality control frameworks, drive continuous improvement, and manage compliance with quality standards while mentoring junior staff.
