As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will align HR strategies with business goals, drive organizational effectiveness, and foster positive employee relations.

Lead FEED and construction for large-scale capital projects using modular construction. Oversee budgets, schedules, contractors, safety, grant compliance, and project teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

Develops financial models, conducts variance analysis, creates reports and presentations, and provides actionable insights to senior management. Owns key financial systems, including SAGE X3, and leads financial-system implementation, integration, automation, and process improvements. The role is onsite at the Alameda campus.

Leads annual budgeting and reforecasting, partners with business units, analyzes budget-to-actual performance, builds financial models, and presents reports to executives. The role improves financial systems and processes, supports enhancement projects, conducts portfolio analysis, and mentors finance team members. It requires strong financial modeling, communication, cross-functional partnership, and project management skills in an onsite manufacturing environment.

Lead and coach teams on process safety for pilot and commercial battery material production. Conduct PHAs (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, QRA), review engineering designs, develop standards, perform risk assessments, manage incident investigations and MOC reviews, and implement mitigation plans to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.

Serve as a strategic HR partner to Technology & Research units: drive recruiting and retention, lead performance management and promotions, resolve complex employee relations, coach leaders and employees, and translate business strategy into HR initiatives to support organizational effectiveness and culture.

Lead R&D and scale-up of electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Investigate roles of active materials, binders, and additives; design and qualify electrodes; apply data analysis and modeling; develop test methods; communicate results across teams and with partners; ensure lab safety and support prototype-to-production scale-up.

Lead mechanical design and development of manufacturing-scale reactor equipment, perform FEA/thermal/fluid analysis, create detailed engineering packages, drive safety-by-design and PSM activities, manage vendor/fabricator coordination and FAT/installation, and mentor junior engineers to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and compliance.

Design and develop manufacturing-scale reactors translating R&D concepts to capital projects. Perform FEA, thermal and fluid modeling; create equipment layouts, drawings, datasheets, and specs. Manage vendor/fabricator coordination, FAT, installation verification, and maintain compliant engineering documentation while prioritizing safety, manufacturability, reliability, and maintainability.

Design, implement, and document process control and instrumentation systems for production-scale materials equipment. Develop control strategies, P&IDs, cause-and-effect matrices, SIL/IPL verification, alarms, and HMIs. Participate in HAZOPs and safety reviews, source instrumentation and vendors, assist with hardware and code commissioning, and gather end-user feedback to refine controls and share best practices.

Manage and improve accounts payable by configuring, testing, and troubleshooting AI agents (e.g., Coupa Navi) to automate invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations. Perform day-to-day accounting: prepare journal entries, reconciliations, bank and investment records, vendor maintenance, and support month-end close, audits, and 1099 filings. Partner cross-functionally to expand P2P automation and provide internal/external accounting support.

Lead the battery engineering team to deploy advanced technologies in various markets. Engage with suppliers and coach engineers in their professional growth while managing daily operations and team performance.

The Senior Engineer, Equipment will provide mechanical engineering support, troubleshoot production issues, enhance equipment reliability, manage design documentation, and collaborate with vendors to optimize production processes.

Develop and deploy manufacturing intelligence systems and machine learning models to enhance operational efficiency in production environments, collaborating across teams to achieve impactful solutions.

As a Senior Staff Quality Engineer, you will lead root cause analyses, oversee quality control frameworks, drive continuous improvement, and manage compliance with quality standards while mentoring junior staff.

Drive production readiness (EVT/DVT/PVT), troubleshoot process and CTQ issues, perform root-cause analysis and CAPA verification, analyze SPC and validation data, standardize practices across sites, and support supplier qualification and scalability.
