Lead development of customer-facing mobile features using React Native and native iOS/Android. Own architecture, observability, CI/CD, testing, and production incident response. Represent the company at industry events; travel ~40%.

Lead discoverability and growth for same-day delivery by owning AEO/SEO, ASO/ASA, SEM, embeddings/vector search, and guest marketplace experience. Define metadata, indexing, deep-linking, and CRO strategies; partner cross-functionally to drive roadmaps, OKRs, and measurable organic and paid acquisition improvements.

Partner with business leaders to translate strategy into workforce plans, drive organizational design, manage complex employee relations, implement HR processes, analyze organizational health data, and deploy HR/AI technologies to improve performance, engagement, and productivity.

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you will design and implement AI-driven solutions, build ML infrastructure, and lead teams to deliver scalable systems for real-time recommendations.

Lead a 7–10 person data science team for Marketplace Product, define analytics vision, build agentic AI and GenAI workflows, drive consumer analytics, experimentation and causal analysis, partner with senior leaders to translate insights into product improvements and operational efficiencies.

Build and re-architect Shipt's LLM-native search stack including retrieval and ranking systems. Design multi-task and multi-objective models, integrate personalization signals, develop hybrid dense/sparse retrieval, and apply generative retrieval and query expansion. Analyze search data, report findings to leadership, and partner with senior scientists and ML engineers to improve relevance, revenue trade-offs, and operational metrics.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will enhance shopper payment systems using Golang and Python, manage backend services, and collaborate with product teams on various solutions.

Lead technical vision and architecture for Shipts Member Marketplace across frontend, backend, APIs, and platform services. Design scalable GraphQL orchestration, Config/Server-Driven UI, microservices for pricing/loyalty/personalization, and champion AI-native engineering, observability, and operational excellence while partnering with product, design, and data teams.

Design, build, test, deploy and maintain backend cart and checkout services in a microservices architecture. Improve performance, latency, and reliability using Go/Python, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka. Collaborate with product and ops, own production services, participate in on-call rotation, and integrate third-party systems.

The Engineering Manager will lead a team to develop web frontends, mentor engineers, oversee project delivery, and collaborate across engineering teams to drive product initiatives.
