Develop and maintain C++ and Python simulation adapters, plugins, interfaces, and reusable framework components. Support migration from HMSSimBlocks to HMSF, integrate simulation backends, maintain CIGI and DDS interfaces, troubleshoot autonomy integration issues, and create tests and documentation. Collaborate with senior engineers on code reviews, debugging, design discussions, and integration support across simulation and autonomy teams.

Develops and tests hardware-in-the-loop infrastructure for mission autonomy and vision systems on crewed and uncrewed aircraft. Responsibilities include Python test automation, integration and regression testing in HIL, SIL, and VIL environments, sensor and onboard processing integration, software and firmware validation, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, network, and software interfaces, and supporting ground and flight tests. Requires hands-on hardware/software integration experience, Python, Linux, practical electrical and mechanical skills, and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Ensures sovereign data handling, export-control compliance, classified-environment access controls, cybersecurity, resilience, and accreditation. Manages a technical team, budget, vendors, IT assets, site deployments, executive support, and customer engagements while aligning Australian requirements with US enterprise standards.

Supports cybersecurity compliance and accreditation for classified information systems across multiple classification levels. Responsibilities include implementing RMF and NIST 800-53 controls, maintaining SSPs and POA&Ms, managing vulnerabilities, analyzing ACAS/Nessus scans, supporting incident response and audits, ensuring STIG compliance, overseeing Cross Domain Solutions, maintaining secure baselines, and advising engineers and administrators on secure designs and multi-level security environments.

Develop and test C++ and Python software, embedded firmware, autonomy features, simulation tools, and testing infrastructure for UAV systems. Work with sensors, perception, planning, mission systems, and real or simulated data. Investigate failures using logs and telemetry, support hardware- and software-in-the-loop integration, collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, document workflows, and participate in code reviews and design discussions.

Leads internal communications for enterprise priorities, organizational change, M&A integrations, organizational updates, and People programs. Develops employee messaging, FAQs, presentations, manager toolkits, intranet content, and leadership communications. Manages communication plans, timelines, stakeholders, approvals, and multiple workstreams while anticipating employee concerns, synthesizing feedback, and advising leaders on communication risks and solutions.

Supports avionics and electrical engineering development for the V-BAT aircraft. Performs benchtop testing, designs basic test fixtures, fabricates wire harnesses, interprets schematics, reworks circuit boards, and contributes across design, verification, procurement, manufacturing, and testing. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams while owning project outcomes and maintaining high standards.

Leads aircraft structural and aerodynamic loads analysis across design and flight-test phases. Develops load envelopes, maneuver, gust, landing, ground, and dynamic load cases; performs aeroelastic stability assessments; validates models using simulation tools; supports structural sizing, instrumentation, and flight-data correlation; and maintains traceability across requirements, FEA models, and technical documentation. Collaborates with aero, structures, GNC, and test engineering teams on aircraft airworthiness and performance.

Leads the technical development of an autonomous aircraft, owning vehicle architecture, system integration, technical performance, risk, and design integrity from requirements through production. Directs multidisciplinary engineering across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, avionics, flight controls, manufacturing, and testing. Drives technical trades, design execution, supplier coordination, build-test-learn cycles, production transition, and resolution of critical engineering issues while mentoring technical leaders.

Lead global accounting operations including monthly close, consolidation, intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, GL accounting, accruals, cash reconciliations, process improvement, internal controls/SOX readiness, and accounting systems optimization to support audit readiness and public-company standards.

Design and develop primary and secondary structural components for a next-generation UAV. Execute full design lifecycle, perform hand calculations and limited FEA, collaborate across disciplines, support validation/testing, and produce design documentation and drawings to aerospace standards.

Design end-to-end human-machine interfaces for UAV ground control station software. Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma; apply human factors principles for real-time data visualization, conduct usability testing and simulations, and collaborate with engineers, pilots, and human factors experts to maintain scalable design systems.

Lead Shield AI’s Polish X-BAT and autonomy capture campaign, owning business development from stakeholder engagement and requirements shaping through demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, contract award, and follow-on programs. Build relationships with military, government, industry, and defense stakeholders while coordinating engineering, product, legal, and program teams. Represent technically complex air-combat and autonomy solutions to strategic and operational audiences.

Leads manufacturing engineering across multiple programs, optimizing processes for throughput, quality, and cost. Responsibilities include scaling production, launching a new jet production line, deploying equipment and tooling, integrating automation and hardware/software systems, coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams, standardizing performance improvements, and mentoring engineers and production personnel.

Leads advanced manufacturing engineering across multiple defense and aerospace programs. Responsibilities include defining manufacturing processes, mapping material bills of manufacturing, designing workstations and tooling, creating controlled work instructions, conducting time studies, improving throughput through lean methods, implementing MES/QMS systems, supporting quality and first article inspection readiness, managing engineering change orders, and mentoring engineers during new production-line development.

Supports manufacturing process development, tooling and fixture design, documentation, prototype builds, NPI, production ramp-up, and continuous improvement for aerospace systems. Partners with engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain to improve manufacturability, troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, validate processes, and ensure compliance with engineering and quality requirements.

Supports and secures enterprise IT operations across Windows and Linux environments. Provides desktop, server, hardware, software, account, access control, asset lifecycle, inventory, licensing, and endpoint support. Generates compliance and asset reports, participates in on-call and after-hours maintenance, collaborates on incident response, and mentors junior staff. Requires systems administration experience, networking knowledge, documentation skills, and familiarity with asset management tools. Preferred qualifications include Intune, JAMF, PowerShell, ITIL, procurement, and relevant certifications.

Owns complex, multi-workstream enterprise technology programs from strategy through delivery and adoption. Leads platform implementations, ERP rollouts, cloud migrations, security programs, and integrations; manages governance, budgets, risks, vendors, technical delivery, go-live readiness, and executive reporting. The role also improves PMO standards, mentors project managers, and drives cross-functional alignment across engineering, IT, business, and vendor teams.
