Coordinate engineering, product, operations, executive, international, and customer stakeholders; facilitate reviews and decision-making; remove execution blockers; support proposals and strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities include defining system architecture, behaviors, requirements, interfaces, fault responses, and traceability; integrating avionics, autonomy, propulsion, sensors, and mission systems; conducting MBSE modeling, trade studies, safety analyses, flight testing, and performance validation; and coordinating cross-functional teams, DoD stakeholders, and government partners through development and operational deployment.

Lead systems engineering for a next-generation autonomous UAS, including system architecture, requirements decomposition, behavior modeling, avionics and autonomy integration, safety analysis, trade studies, flight testing, and performance validation. Collaborate with hardware, software, propulsion, manufacturing, flight operations, DoD stakeholders, and government agencies to develop a mission-ready aircraft from clean sheet through first flight and deployment.

Leads end-to-end international government and commercial proposal development for Shield AI’s India business. Manages proposal teams, timelines, compliance, reviews, submissions, RFIs, and related deliverables. Coordinates cross-functional stakeholders, improves proposal processes and tools, mentors contributors, and supports customer briefings, demonstrations, and go-to-market events. Requires government proposal or government requirements experience, strong technical writing and communication skills, proposal methodology knowledge, and project management capabilities. Defense, autonomy, and Indian security clearance experience are preferred.

Lead end-to-end mission systems engineering for advanced unmanned aircraft, including architecture, requirements, payloads, avionics, communications, weapons, integration, certification, and flight testing. Drive system-of-systems trade studies, integration campaigns, technical maturity, and compliance with aerospace standards. Serve as a technical subject matter expert while coordinating with program management, customers, partners, and suppliers to deliver fielded mission capabilities.

Develop and optimize C++ and Python software for autonomous behavior and motion planning. Design trajectory-planning algorithms for single- and multi-agent systems, build testing and simulation tools, diagnose concurrency and performance issues, and validate software on simulated and real hardware. Collaborate across teams on requirements, architecture, flight testing, and product maturation while mentoring engineers and applying advances in robotics and learned planning.

Lead system architecture, requirements, and integration for next-generation autonomous UAS. Define system behavior, perform MBSE modeling and safety analyses, conduct trade studies, and support flight test and deployment. Coordinate with autonomy, hardware, software, propulsion, and DoD stakeholders to deliver mission-capable airborne platforms.

Leads a 5–10 person autonomy engineering team developing motion planning, tactical behaviors, multi-agent coordination, track fusion, and decision-making capabilities. Owns hiring, mentoring, technical direction, architecture, delivery, integration, validation, and field deployment across software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and live testing. Collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams and defense customers while remaining technically engaged in C++ development and complex autonomy challenges.

Build and operate developer tools, internal platforms, development environments, project templates, and AI-enabled workflows for Hivemind engineering teams. Improve developer productivity through reusable tooling, paved paths, documentation, adoption efforts, and inner-source practices. Partner with developers to identify friction, measure outcomes using DORA metrics and feedback, and drive technical direction. Staff-level responsibilities include leading cross-team initiatives and shaping organization-wide developer productivity strategy.

Supports technical recruiting for specialized software engineering and autonomy roles. Responsibilities include managing candidate pipelines, conducting recruiter screens, sourcing and engaging technical talent, coordinating with hiring managers, maintaining ATS accuracy and recruiting data, delivering a strong candidate experience, and improving recruiting processes. The role partners with senior recruiters and sourcers while developing expertise in software engineering talent markets and using recruiting tools, AI, and automation.

Owns U.S. sales and use tax, property tax, and international VAT/GST functions. Manages compliance, audits, tax research, exemptions, external advisors, and process controls. Leads indirect tax technology implementation, automation, ERP integration, and improvements across finance and transaction processes. Partners with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Procurement, IT, Billing, and Supply Chain to support tax compliance, international expansion, acquisitions, and scalable operations.

Leads technical development, qualification, industrialization, and recovery of suppliers producing welded structures, sheet metal components, and complex aerospace assemblies. Performs capability assessments, process audits, readiness reviews, capacity analyses, and technical problem-solving. Reviews manufacturing documentation, welding procedures, tooling, inspection plans, and AS9102 First Article Inspections. Partners with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and suppliers to improve quality, delivery, capacity, cost, and production readiness. Requires regular domestic and international supplier travel and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance.

Safely operate unmanned aircraft during production acceptance, validation, troubleshooting, delivery, and customer acceptance flights. Responsibilities include mission planning, preflight preparation, aircraft configuration, flight execution, discrepancy documentation, real-time troubleshooting, risk assessment, and coordination with engineering, production, maintenance, and flight-test teams. The operator maintains aircraft qualifications, supports test procedures and corrective actions, and may travel to domestic and international test events or deployments.

Provides customer-facing technical expertise for defense simulation, synthetic environments, image generation, and AI-enabled mission systems. Supports discovery, demonstrations, technical briefings, RFIs, RFPs, proposals, and capture activities across Spain, Europe, NATO, and allied markets. Translates mission and training needs into solution concepts, explains simulation architectures and use cases, develops technical sales materials, and represents customer feedback to cross-functional teams. Translates defense customer missions and integration constraints into feasible autonomy concepts, collaborates with business development and engineering teams, creates technical sales content, and represents product capabilities accurately. Requires strong autonomy or defense technology expertise, international customer experience, Polish and English fluency, and international travel.

Leads a team responsible for integrating, testing, troubleshooting, and deploying autonomy software across unmanned aircraft and related systems. Manages technical priorities, resources, schedules, test procedures, simulation and flight-test activities, mission readiness, root-cause analysis, and field deployments. Partners with software, hardware, flight-test, and operations teams while providing hands-on technical direction in dynamic environments, primarily supporting operations in Kyiv with occasional travel within Ukraine.
