- Develop and maintain integrated logistics support products, including maintenance concept inputs, support equipment requirements, provisioning data, spares recommendations, and sustainment documentation.
- Perform Maintenance Task Analysis to define preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, task frequencies, required tools, support equipment, skill levels, labor hours, and maintenance levels.
- Build and maintain Logistics Control Number structures for assigned systems to support provisioning, maintenance planning, technical documentation, configuration tracking, and sustainment data management.
- Support Reliability and Maintainability activities, including Level of Repair Analysis inputs, FMECA data review, maintainability assessments, corrective action tracking, and operational availability analysis.
- Execute supply support activities, including spares analysis, provisioning, parts forecasting, inventory planning, reorder recommendations, repair pipeline tracking, and identification of obsolescence and sustainment risks.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, field operations, suppliers, and repair vendors to resolve support issues and ensure timely availability of parts, support equipment, and logistics resources.
- Provide logistics inputs to proposals, basis of estimates, and cost estimates. Ensure assigned work complies with applicable defense standards, contract requirements, export control requirements, and company processes.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, supply chain, aviation maintenance, business, or a related field. Equivalent military or defense logistics experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 6 or more years of experience supporting UAS, fighter, or other military aircraft logistics and sustainment.
- Hands on experience performing Maintenance Task Analysis and developing maintenance planning data.
- Working knowledge of Logistics Control Number structures and their use in provisioning, maintenance planning, and supportability analysis.
- Experience applying Reliability and Maintainability principles, including failure modes, maintainability drivers, availability metrics, field performance data, and Level of Repair Analysis inputs.
- Hands on supply support experience, including spares planning, provisioning, inventory management, parts forecasting, and repairable tracking.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of material, configuration data, maintenance data, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across engineering, program management, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and field service teams in a fast paced environment.
- Experience with integrated product support elements, including supply support, support equipment, maintenance planning, technical data, manpower and personnel, and facilities.
- Experience with provisioning, sparing, or supportability tools such as PowerLOG J, SLICwave, COMPASS, CASA, OPUS10, EAGLE, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with MIL STD 1388 legacy logistics concepts, GEIA STD 0007, SAE TA STD 0017, MIL HDBK 502A, or related product support standards.
- Experience developing logistics

What We Do
At Shield AI, you won't wait years to see your work reach the field. You'll build hardware and software that operates in the real world right now, in the hands of the people who depend on it. Hivemind, our AI pilot, has been flying since 2018. It has flown more than 30 platforms, including an F-16, and it now sits under a U.S. Air Force production contract for Collaborative Combat Aircraft. When you write code or shape a system here, you contribute to technology with a proven flight record and a clear production future. V-BAT flies intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions with an operational record that stretches from Ukraine to the Indo-Pacific. It delivers eyes where they matter most, in the most demanding conditions on earth. The teams behind it watch their work get tested where the stakes are real. X-BAT takes its first flight this year. It's an AI-piloted fighter that needs no runway, built to operate where traditional aircraft can't. Join now and you help shape a program at its earliest, most formative stage. That's the kind of ground-floor work that defines a career. Do the most impactful work of your life, on problems that matter. Autonomy at this level asks a lot of you. You'll take on problems in perception, planning, and control that few teams anywhere are equipped to solve. You'll work across disciplines, from aerospace and robotics to machine learning and systems engineering, alongside people who hold themselves to an exacting standard and expect the same from you. Our mission is clear: protect service members and civilians with intelligent systems. That purpose runs through every decision, every design review, and every deployment. It's why the work here carries a weight you can feel. Ready to join our mission? Explore our open roles and find where you fit.
