Responsibilities include troubleshooting critical server and network issues, configuring web servers and databases, automating provisioning with scripts and infrastructure tools, managing virtualization and cloud environments, implementing security controls, monitoring systems, responding to incidents, and mentoring support engineers in a 24/7 on-call environment.

Serves as the L3 escalation point for complex Linux, hosting, network, and production incidents. Develops automation using scripting and infrastructure tools, manages monitoring, patching, vulnerability remediation, and incident response, and participates in 24/7 on-call support. Collaborates with NOC, DevOps, and Engineering teams while mentoring junior support engineers.

Senior Linux System Engineer responsible for L3 escalation, troubleshooting, and maintaining secure, high-performance Linux hosting/cloud platforms. Manage virtualization (KVM/Libvirt), web hosting stacks, databases, storage, automation, monitoring, and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations while mentoring L1/L2 engineers.
