Leads complex enterprise technical projects from concept through execution, including platform implementations, migrations, and modernization efforts. Defines scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, governance, and change controls while coordinating engineering, infrastructure, analytics, security, vendors, and business stakeholders. Translates business needs into execution plans, facilitates delivery ceremonies, reports to executives, ensures security and regulatory alignment, and improves project delivery practices. Data and analytics platform experience, cloud familiarity, and project management certifications are preferred.

Bridges procurement stakeholders, governance teams, business analysts, and engineers to define data contracts, map procurement data to OCDS, and build Databricks pipelines. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, source-to-target mapping, data modeling, validation, quality controls, lineage, governance, and production support. Develops Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers using Spark, PySpark, Python, SQL, Delta Lake, and Databricks services while supporting Agile delivery, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Operates and supports production Databricks environments and data pipelines. Responsibilities include monitoring platform health, troubleshooting Spark and pipeline failures, managing incidents, validating data quality, coordinating deployments, supporting access and governance, optimizing cloud compute costs, maintaining observability dashboards, and documenting operational procedures. The role collaborates with engineering, security, governance, cloud, and business teams to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant data services.

Manage strategic technology and ISV partner relationships, including program requirements, certifications, training, partner portals, incentives, renewals, and business development opportunities. Coordinate across technical, sales, operations, executive, and external partner teams. Maintain certification and partner-status tracking, communicate risks and opportunities to leadership, and ensure Scicom maximizes partner resources and maintains good standing.

Lead enterprise observability architecture and modernization using Splunk and Databricks. Design telemetry ingestion, data lakehouse, AIOps, security analytics, governance, and high-performance log analytics at petabyte scale while mentoring teams and aligning strategy with business and compliance goals.

Manage cost visibility, forecasting, governance, and optimization for a large Databricks/cloud data platform. Monitor and analyze spend, identify savings, build budgets and cost-allocation models, configure financial guardrails, reconcile invoices, and support cost-aware engineering and FinOps policy development.

Lead design and implementation of Databricks lakehouse architectures and best practices. Build and optimize Spark/Delta ETL/ELT pipelines, implement Unity Catalog governance, integrate cloud storage and services, establish CI/CD, monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, and provide technical leadership and architecture guidance across data engineering, analytics, ML, and security teams.
