Own hardware strategy and lifecycle for industrial computer vision systems, including cameras, imaging components, edge computing, networking, power delivery, testing, sourcing, compliance, and fleet support. Specify and validate hardware for manufacturing environments, develop standardized BOMs, assess environmental performance, support GigE Vision and PLC integrations, manage certifications, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, IT, cybersecurity, vendors, and plant stakeholders. The role requires full-time daily onsite work in Detroit, Michigan.

Assess ergonomic risks in client workplaces, conduct detailed analyses, and recommend improvements that reduce risks to employee health, productivity, quality, and safety. Collaborate with clients across automotive, manufacturing, and other industries, prepare reports, deliver presentations, and travel regularly between client facilities for site visits.

Deliver Ignition-based SCADA/IIoT systems integration for manufacturing customers: gather and document requirements, develop/customize Ignition solutions, configure plant-floor data collection, validate and test systems, and provide user training and support.

Design and plan industrial facility layouts and machinery installations. Read and interpret mechanical and architectural drawings, coordinate vendors, track project progress, and ensure systems integration across electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems while supporting construction and installation activities.

Hands-on manufacturing test engineer responsible for validating, installing, commissioning, and improving end-of-line test processes and equipment. Perform NVH and vibration analysis, functional validation, resolver calibration, troubleshooting, test software/sequences, and liaise with product and supplier engineering to reduce defects and improve production quality.

Serve as on-site safety lead for industrial maintenance projects: conduct floor surveys, create and validate Job Safety Analyses, define LOTO procedures, map PPE and permits, manage 3-tier safety signoffs, and align safety documentation with IBM Maximo.

Lead development and implementation of ergonomic, material-handling, and manufacturing solutions from concept through procurement, installation, commissioning, and acceptance.
