The role includes workplace assessments, client presentations, project leadership, research, and recommendations to improve employee health, safety, productivity, and quality. Travel to client sites is required approximately 50% of the time.

Own the backlog and roadmap for computer vision and automated inspection products used in manufacturing quality systems. Translate plant and quality requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and product increments. Lead Agile delivery, stakeholder alignment, user acceptance testing, commissioning, production validation, KPI measurement, operational readiness, training, and continuous improvement. The role requires regular plant-floor collaboration and approximately 20% travel to support manufacturing launches and system deployments.

Provides onsite industrial cybersecurity support across automotive manufacturing facilities. Implements and manages manufacturing cybersecurity controls and standards, coordinates initiatives with plant and corporate teams, supports vulnerability and incident management, reports progress, and promotes adherence to industrial cybersecurity practices. Own hardware strategy and lifecycle for industrial computer vision systems, including cameras, imaging components, edge computing, networking, power delivery, testing, sourcing, compliance, and fleet support. Specify and validate hardware for manufacturing environments, develop standardized BOMs, assess environmental performance, support GigE Vision and PLC integrations, manage certifications, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, IT, cybersecurity, vendors, and plant stakeholders. The role requires full-time daily onsite work in Detroit, Michigan.

Assess ergonomic risks in client workplaces, conduct detailed analyses, and recommend improvements that reduce risks to employee health, productivity, quality, and safety. Collaborate with clients across automotive, manufacturing, and other industries, prepare reports, deliver presentations, and travel regularly between client facilities for site visits.

Manages and implements industrial cybersecurity controls and standards within automotive manufacturing facilities. Serve as a project management engineer supporting component validation, supplier coordination, BOM and inventory management, project tracking, importation and material reception, compliance checks, and shutdown support. Provide status reporting, scope writing, bid evaluation, subcontractor selection, and ensure program deliverables are met on schedule.

Design and plan industrial facility layouts and machinery installations. Read and interpret mechanical and architectural drawings, coordinate vendors, track project progress, and ensure systems integration across electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems while supporting construction and installation activities.

Perform NVH and vibration analysis, functional validation, resolver calibration, troubleshooting, test software/sequences, and liaise with product and supplier engineering to reduce defects and improve production quality.

Serve as on-site safety lead for industrial maintenance projects: conduct floor surveys, create and validate Job Safety Analyses, define LOTO procedures, map PPE and permits, manage 3-tier safety signoffs, and align safety documentation with IBM Maximo.
