SailPoint Engineering Team in Austin

Leads SailPoint’s global tax function, overseeing U.S. federal and state compliance, international tax, transfer pricing, ASC 740 income tax provision, tax accounting, financial disclosures, controls, audits, and risk management. Partners with Accounting, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and external advisors on tax strategy, cross-border planning, regulatory changes, and global expansion initiatives.

Leads a software engineering team responsible for designing, developing, operating, and reliably delivering core cloud-scale SailPoint products. Owns technical direction, architecture reviews, code quality, sprint execution, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and delivery metrics. Partners with Product Management and architecture leaders on roadmaps, coaches engineers, drives operational excellence, and promotes AI-assisted development. The team uses AWS, event-driven microservices, and distributed systems to build enterprise-grade identity security products.

Lead the Performance and Quality Frameworks team, owning scalable performance engineering platforms and shared functional testing frameworks. Drive architecture, reliability, adoption, documentation, self-service, and roadmap execution across product teams. Apply AI tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to improve test development, maintenance, analysis, and engineering efficiency. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, mentor engineers, measure framework outcomes, and support highly distributed SaaS systems using cloud, microservices, containers, and CI/CD technologies.
