Lead complex deportation and removal defense cases, advanced immigration litigation, appeals, and high-stakes appearances before USCIS, EOIR, and the BIA. Develop legal strategies for criminal bars, fraud issues, waivers, and complex eligibility matters. Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert, final decision-maker in critical matters, and mentor to associate attorneys and paralegals while collaborating on firm-wide litigation strategy.

Serve as front-desk representative for an immigration law firm: greet visitors, provide information, handle mail and errands, perform filing, data entry, document preparation, maintain front desk area, and support administrative staff and special projects.

Handle affirmative (USCIS) and defensive (EOIR) immigration matters, manage a caseload, draft petitions/motions, appear at hearings and interviews, conduct legal research, and collaborate with senior attorneys. Progressively take on independent, complex cases and mentor support staff at higher level.

Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) paralegal support for deportation/removal cases: prepare and file immigration documents, gather evidence, maintain electronic case files, track deadlines, communicate with clients, and assist attorneys while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.

Represent clients before USCIS and EOIR in affirmative and defensive immigration matters. Manage varied caseloads, prepare and file petitions, motions, briefs, and supporting evidence, appear at hearings and interviews, conduct legal research, draft responses to RFEs/NOIDs, and collaborate with attorneys and support staff. Senior attorneys will lead complex removal defense, handle BIA appeals, mentor staff, and serve as lead counsel in high-stakes litigation.
