Senior HR Consultant role delivering flexible, client-facing HR advice across strategy, recruitment, compliance and leadership capability. Work varies between strategic projects and hands-on delivery while building partnerships with diverse clients. Hybrid/remote flexibility with a home base in Palmerston North.

Provide senior technical and strategic financial leadership across the group, oversee complex accounting, statutory compliance, tax, audit, financial governance and consolidated group reporting, advise executives on major financial decisions, and strengthen finance systems and controls during organisational growth.

Lead a small finance team and run day-to-day finance operations including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end, internal controls and audit readiness. Coach and develop staff, work with the Financial Controller, and ensure accurate, timely financial information for leadership and governance.

Own and deliver end-to-end campaigns across multiple markets: develop campaign plans and messaging, write and refine content for web, email, articles and occasional video scripts, gather customer insights through interviews/conversations, collaborate with digital specialists and stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team.

Provide hands-on accounting support for schools and not-for-profits including monthly reporting, GST preparation, annual financial statements, and Xero support. Manage own workload, work independently and within a small team while supporting clients to gain financial clarity.
