Support the Acting General Manager and incoming GM during organisational transition. Manage schedules, queries, confidential information, systems, workflows, and executive priorities while coordinating with the Senior Leadership Team. Provide governance administration and continuity alongside the contracted Board Secretary, ensuring Board processes run smoothly. The role requires exceptional organisation, discretion, sound judgement, calmness under pressure, and respect for a kaupapa Māori organisation.

The role is permanent and flexible, with occasional participation in meetings and activities outside normal working hours.

Independent Chair of the Finance, Audit & Risk Komiti, providing governance leadership over financial reporting, audit, enterprise risk, internal controls, compliance, assurance, fraud prevention, resilience, and emerging technology risks. The role leads inclusive, tikanga-informed meetings, challenges management constructively, reports to the Board, and supports sound financial stewardship across a complex kaupapa Māori group.

Provide commercial leadership and operational oversight for Te Taumata’s commercial subsidiaries. Drive business plans, budgets, forecasting and performance monitoring across property management and housing development. Manage relationships with boards, contractors, funders and advisors, ensure financial controls and audit-readiness, identify revenue and risk opportunities, and support system and capability improvements to build long-term commercial value.
