Supervises transit operators and manages daily staffing, work assignments, vehicle deployment, schedules, extra-board operations, and service coverage. Ensures compliance with safety rules, regulations, Hours of Service requirements, and collective bargaining agreements. Coordinates disruptions, special services, detours, and emergency operations; prepares reports, maintains records, audits timekeeping, and supports workforce bids and operational improvements.

Supports transportation and public infrastructure projects through engineering analysis, design and constructability reviews, cost estimating, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, construction oversight, stakeholder coordination, and project closeout. Independently manages smaller capital improvement projects while assisting with larger initiatives. The role requires coordination with contractors, consultants, utilities, property owners, regulatory agencies, and internal teams, along with technical documentation, material testing coordination, and compliance monitoring in hybrid office and field environments.

Supports physical asset owners by collecting, analyzing, and reporting maintenance, performance, cost, risk, and condition data. Develops asset management practices, assessment criteria, maintenance and component replacement standards, condition reports, and resource projections. Conducts State of Good Repair asset assessments and collaborates with technicians, contractors, and asset owners. Requires business or analytics education, data mining and EAM/MRS experience, advanced Excel skills, and asset management certification within specified timelines.

Supervises light rail storeroom and vehicle warehouse operations, including staffing, inventory control, parts stocking, shipping and receiving, vendor warranty returns, facility transfers, surplus disposal, inventory adjustments, and resolution of shipment issues. Ensures compliance with federal parts configuration requirements, safety regulations, company procedures, and collective bargaining agreements while maintaining adequate supplies and accurate inventory records.

Operates commuter rail vehicles safely and efficiently as a dual-certified locomotive engineer and conductor. Duties include passenger and crew safety, inspections, switching, radio communications, equipment troubleshooting, emergency response, customer service, incident reporting, and compliance with FRA and RTD operating rules. The role requires completion of a two-month engineer and conductor training program, physical and medical qualifications, irregular-hour availability, and the ability to work safely in changing outdoor conditions.

Manages data science, statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and analytics supporting RTD’s Asset Management program. Oversees data warehouses and analytical systems, evaluates asset performance, develops data solutions, interprets findings, and communicates insights for strategic decision-making. Leads staffing, recruitment, coaching, performance management, and team development while promoting safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
