Supervise transit operators and manage daily staffing, vehicle assignments, schedules, extra-board operations, and service coverage. Monitor safety, Hours of Service, policies, regulations, and collective bargaining compliance. Respond to disruptions, coordinate special services and emergency operations, prepare operational reports, maintain work-assignment materials and records, and collaborate with operations staff, employees, union leadership, and other departments to support reliable service.

Ensures compliance with safety rules, regulations, Hours of Service requirements, and collective bargaining agreements. Coordinates disruptions, special services, detours, and emergency operations; prepares reports, maintains records, audits timekeeping, and supports workforce bids and operational improvements.

Supports transportation and public infrastructure projects through engineering analysis, design and constructability reviews, cost estimating, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, construction oversight, stakeholder coordination, and project closeout. Independently manages smaller capital improvement projects while assisting with larger initiatives. The role requires coordination with contractors, consultants, utilities, property owners, regulatory agencies, and internal teams, along with technical documentation, material testing coordination, and compliance monitoring in hybrid office and field environments.
