The role requires physical work, frequent standing, lifting, climbing, bending, and use of personal protective equipment.

Installs and fabricates fire apparatus components including door sills, rub rails, fenderettes, roll-up doors, steps, running boards, and tailboards. Cuts and bends sheet metal, measures and fabricates doors, welds assemblies, and uses hand tools, shears, and brake presses. Develop and support embedded software for fire truck vehicle control systems. Design, test, validate, and troubleshoot software and system improvements while collaborating with global teams, internal stakeholders, suppliers, production, and manufacturing environments. Provide technical support, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and project status reporting. The role requires embedded systems, low-voltage electrical, signal processing, and software development experience.

Leads purchasing, warehouse, stockroom, and material-handling operations to ensure timely, cost-effective material availability for manufacturing. Manages purchasing personnel, purchase orders, MRP and inventory systems, supplier relationships, cycle counting, replenishment processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partners with planning, materials, and operational teams, supports strategic sourcing projects, maintains quality standards, and develops departmental procedures and KPIs.

Leads product and process quality for a fire-apparatus manufacturing site. Responsibilities include developing process controls, inspection plans, testing methods, audits, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement. The manager maintains the ISO 9001 quality system, coordinates apparatus testing, oversees Quality Control personnel, manages documentation and training, and collaborates with production, engineering, supply chain, vendors, and other quality teams.
