Design, develop, and test mechanical sub-systems for fire apparatus. Create drawings and BOMs, run simulations and validation tests, ensure regulatory compliance (FMVSS/SAE/NFPA), support production and suppliers, resolve field issues, and participate in cross-functional product and process improvements.

The Quote Writer Coordinator manages the Quote Writer Program, setting parameters and coordinating with dealers and vendors to streamline quoting and procurement processes, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and cross-functional workflows.

Serve as technical gatekeeper between sales and manufacturing: audit and validate custom truck specifications and pricing, resolve configuration conflicts, author change orders, migrate Quote Writer data to Excel, support dealers and Quote Writer team, and ensure production-ready specs prior to manufacturing.
