Lead global strategic sourcing and procurement for industrial equipment, including supplier strategy, negotiations, contracts, cost reduction, and long-lead equipment purchasing. Manage vendor relationships and cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Legal, and Finance. Apply knowledge of FAT/SAT, commissioning milestones, EPC/EPCM structures, milestone payments, equipment purchase agreements, and technical documentation. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site work at the Alameda headquarters two to three days per week.

Manages project cost control, budgeting, forecasting, commitments, accruals, change orders, invoices, and financial reconciliations. Develops and maintains integrated project schedules, monitors critical paths and risks, supports mitigation plans, calculates earned value, and produces project dashboards, S-curves, and status reports. Coordinates with engineering, procurement, construction, finance, contractors, suppliers, and project management teams across international energy projects. The hybrid Madrid role requires international travel and project-site work as needed.

Leads mechanical design and validation of high-temperature insulation systems, structural interfaces, seals, and thermomechanical components operating up to 1500 °C. Performs thermal analysis, FEA, FMEA, testing, and experiments; manages CAD and PLM documentation; develops requirements; supports prototyping, manufacturing, suppliers, and production improvements; and provides technical leadership through design reviews and cross-functional project execution.

The role involves sourcing electricity for industrial heat projects, managing relationships with energy suppliers, and developing market strategies across Europe, Australia, and the US.

Manage sourcing strategies for electricity for Rondo Heat Battery projects, negotiate contracts, analyze energy markets, and guide expansion strategies.

Design, integrate, test, and support medium- and low-voltage electrical systems and controls. Create and review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and vendor submittals. Support equipment selection, FAT/SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and field testing. Coordinate across disciplines and maintain technical documentation while following codes and safety procedures.

Lead development, optimization, and scale-up of assembly processes for modular thermal battery systems. Build process models, define tooling and automation, create documentation (PFMEAs, control plans), collaborate on DFM/DFA, ensure production readiness, own module-level costing, and drive continuous improvement and field-feedback integration.

Lead Rondo's global People function: develop and execute international HR strategy, advise executives on org design and workforce planning, scale People operations, manage employee relations, build programs for performance, compensation, talent development, and HRIS/people analytics, and provide hands-on HR partnership to engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.

Lead FP&A ownership: build and maintain driver-based consolidated financial model in Vena, run cash forecasting and runway to weekly precision, manage budgeting/reforecast cycles, produce board and executive reporting, complete EPM buildout integrated with NetSuite actuals, and partner cross-functionally with CFO, Controllership, Commercial, People, and project teams to drive repeatable FP&A processes.

Provide legal leadership across corporate, commercial, and project development for international energy and infrastructure projects. Structure and negotiate project finance, commercial, EPC/O&M, supply and partnership agreements; advise on EU and Australian regulatory, grants, and compliance matters; coordinate external counsel; support subsidiary formation and corporate governance across Europe; collaborate with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Project Development teams.
