Lead products that generate, enhance, and adapt TV advertising assets; scale offerings from beta to general availability; define quality, safety, cost, and performance standards; and identify new product opportunities. Partner with engineering, design, sales, marketing, operations, and legal on discovery, launch, commercialization, responsible AI, and human-review workflows. Use instrumentation, feedback, experimentation, and campaign data to guide product decisions.

Develop Roku OS features for Roku TV, including embedded software, SoC integration, platform bring-up, third-party API integrations, scalability solutions, and code maintenance. Collaborate with QA, development teams, hardware partners, factories, and certification teams throughout product releases. Use AI coding tools daily, evaluate AI-generated code for correctness and security, and improve team AI workflows.

Develop Roku OS features for Roku TV, including embedded software development, SoC integration, platform bring-up, third-party API integration, scalability design, code maintenance, and product release support. Collaborate with QA, development teams, hardware partners, factories, and certification teams. Use AI coding tools daily for development and debugging, while reviewing AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.

Develop and productionize scalable machine learning models for Roku’s advertising platform, using visual, audio, and textual ad content. Build computer vision, deep learning, generative AI, LLM, and VLM solutions for brand safety, ad moderation, creative generation, and revenue optimization. Conduct A/B experiments and statistical analysis, improve model training and serving efficiency, collaborate with software engineers, and help define the ML strategy for ad serving.

Own Roku’s commerce financial platform strategy, roadmap, compliance posture, and financial controls across partner onboarding, billing, payouts, and payment integrations. Translate regulatory, tax, legal, and contractual requirements into scalable platform solutions, drive automation, assess launch readiness, protect reconciliation and close integrity, and remediate compliance and operational risks. Diagnose crashes, memory pressure, launch-time regressions, DRM and DASH/HLS problems, and platform defects. Represent regional technical requirements to Roku engineering, support Roku Pay integrations, drive partner escalations to resolution, and use telemetry and AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery. The role is London-based, office-oriented Monday through Thursday, with up to 40% European travel and occasional launch-related after-hours work.

Lead and grow an ML engineering team building content knowledge and discovery capabilities. Define ML roadmap, provide architecture and MLOps guidance, integrate generative AI and vision models, partner cross-functionally, and deliver scalable production ML solutions that improve search, recommendations, and ad experiences.

Leads financial close, reconciliations, journal entries, partner settlements, exception management, audit controls, operational reporting, and data quality for Roku’s Commerce Platform. Manages Financial Operations Analysts, coordinates with accounting, treasury, engineering, and payment teams, oversees dashboards and KPIs, and drives automation using SQL, Python, Airflow, and AI tools. Ensures accurate, timely, documented, and audit-ready financial operations across high-volume commerce and payment workflows.

Develop scalable web applications, backend services, APIs, and AI-powered features for Roku’s advertising products. Build RAG solutions and chatbot experiences, design distributed cloud systems, optimize performance and reliability, write tests, and support CI/CD delivery. Collaborate with UX, engineering, DevOps, QA, and product teams while contributing across the full software development lifecycle. Use modern AI-assisted development workflows and help improve engineering processes.

Own and architect autonomous CI/CD and QA automation infrastructure for Roku’s iOS and Android mobile applications. Design GitLab CI pipelines, optimize test routing, automate releases, orchestrate physical devices, detect and quarantine flaky tests, and build self-healing systems. Use AI to predict failures, improve pipeline performance, scale agent-authored merge requests, and minimize manual intervention across development and app-store submission.

Administer and evolve Roku’s Salesforce Service Cloud platform for customer support operations. Configure workflows, fields, layouts, automation, integrations, security, reports, and dashboards; maintain data integrity and documentation; and lead platform projects. Partner with engineering, product, CX leadership, agents, and vendors to gather requirements and deliver scalable improvements. Evaluate Salesforce AI capabilities, govern AI access and security, prepare data for AI agents, and support continuous process and productivity improvements.

Leads strategic partnerships across Roku’s devices ecosystem, including TV licensing, OEM/ODM manufacturing, factories, and retail distribution. Responsibilities include sourcing and negotiating complex commercial agreements, managing executive relationships, driving Roku OS adoption, developing business cases and ROI models, coordinating cross-functional launches, monitoring market intelligence, and reporting pipeline progress to senior leadership. The role requires extensive business development experience in consumer electronics, retail, streaming, or related industries and involves partner travel as needed.
