Serve as Riot's primary electrical technical authority for hyperscale data centers: own electrical design standards and Basis of Design, review and approve designs and studies (arc flash, short circuit, coordination), define requirements for UPS/generators/switchgear, manage consultants and vendors, support commissioning and constructability, drive risk mitigation and continuous improvement, and provide executive summaries of technical decisions.

Lead electrical design and coordination for industrial power projects (LV/MV/HV up to 500kV). Develop scopes, budgets, one-line diagrams, protection/PLC cabinets, grounding, MCCs, cable schedules, and network architectures. Perform load flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies using SKM or ETAP. Mentor junior staff, support commissioning/troubleshooting, prepare specifications, and ensure code compliance.

Lead Riot's multi-discipline data center engineering organization (mechanical, electrical, controls), set technical standards and QA/QC, approve designs at key milestones, oversee consultants and vendors, develop engineering talent, and represent engineering in cross-functional and executive decision-making.

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade electrical systems and equipment per local and national codes. Read blueprints, perform diagnostics to minimize downtime, maintain records, follow safety/OSHA protocols, and collaborate with contractors and engineers. Provide training on system use and perform onsite work in a high-noise, variable-temperature mining/data center environment on a 12-hour rotating schedule.

The Data Center Technician is responsible for installing mining equipment, maintaining a clean environment, and supporting operations in a data center setting.

Lead enterprise EHS strategy for global hyperscale data center construction and operations. Establish electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E, LOTO), govern high-voltage substations, oversee contractor qualification, manage environmental permitting, deploy predictive analytics and EHS platforms, lead crisis response and root-cause investigations, and embed design-for-safety across engineering, commissioning, and operations.

Lead day-to-day accounting for a multi-subsidiary public company, owning monthly close, internal reporting, ERP/GL system management, team leadership, process design, and ad hoc judgment-intensive transactions. Build scalable controls, mentor staff, analyze financial outcomes, and communicate results to stakeholders while improving systems and integrating modern technology and AI.
