Integrate and debug devices/protocols (Modbus, SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, RS-485), use hardware tools (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes), reverse-engineer undocumented devices, ensure deterministic low-latency behavior, and validate system reliability to prevent unsafe failures.
