Provide authoritative actuarial advice to support prudential supervision of New Zealand’s insurance sector. Leads the enhancement, support, and ongoing development of financial data products at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. The role involves prioritising improvements, developing dashboards, statistical tables, reporting outputs, data-quality solutions, and analytical prototypes. It requires strong stakeholder engagement, data-product development expertise, data warehousing and modelling knowledge, and the ability to translate complex data into useful insights for supervision, financial stability, research, and policy teams.

Provides high-level administrative and operational support to directors, managers, and the wider Enterprise Services Group. Responsibilities include diary and calendar management, meeting coordination, minute-taking, office and facilities administration, event logistics, domestic and international travel arrangements, budget preparation, invoice processing, account reconciliation, and supporting workflow across the group.

Coordinates People Partnering operations and employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, employee records, shared inboxes, HR reporting, and data administration. Maintains accurate HR information, develops Workday expertise, supports People and Culture projects and annual processes, and identifies process improvements. The role requires strong organisation, communication, stakeholder relationship, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills.

Leads financial accounting and reporting, including monthly close, reconciliations, journals, fixed assets, statutory statements, forecasts, financial controls, and accounting policy advice. The role supports Board and Audit Committee reporting, regulatory obligations, external requests, and continuous finance-process improvement while partnering with senior stakeholders. Advanced Excel, accounting standards, statutory reporting expertise, and a Chartered Accountant qualification are required.

Provide financial leadership and oversight for the Reserve Bank’s investment budget and project portfolio. Review business cases, budgets, forecasts, capital and operating expenditure, benefits, and ongoing costs; challenge assumptions; identify efficiencies and risks; support project managers and business owners; improve financial processes; and advise senior decision-makers on portfolio finance and value-for-money matters.

Leads the Reserve Bank’s technology strategy, enterprise architecture practice, governance, roadmaps, and emerging technology adoption. Drives AI deployment and AI-enabled business transformation, evaluates digital assets and financial technologies, and provides technology leadership for strategic initiatives including Payments Modernisation. The role influences senior stakeholders, leads high-performing teams, and translates complex technology opportunities into business value while building a sustainable performance culture.
