Te tūranga – The role
The Product Owner is responsible for managing the development roadmap of our key digital communication channels. You’ll be the vital link between our business and technology teams, understanding business needs and requirements of the systems, and ensuring delivery aligns with business priorities.
As the operational lead for our website and intranet you’ll manage delivery planning, product backlogs, change and release management, quality assurance, and operational excellence.
Ō pūkenga – About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
5+years’ experience in a Product Owner role or similar, along with a depth of expertise built over a well-rounded career in the Digital Channels field.
Deep understanding and experience in product ownership
Strong understanding of web and digital communication technologies and experience with Web Content Management Systems, Sharepoint intranets
Able to translate technical information into business-relevant concepts.
Confident navigating ambiguity and managing interdependencies.
Strong relationship management, interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills; effective in cross-functional collaboration
Experience working in a range of methodologies including Agile is advantageous
Sound judgement and the ability to think holistically across a broad range of issues.
