Leads materials and process engineering for hybrid aerospace manufacturing. Encodes metallurgy, process windows, material models, and manufacturability constraints into DFM systems. Develops WAAM, directed energy deposition, CNC, and hybrid process guidance; characterizes microstructure, defects, stresses, and properties; and conducts hands-on validation through coupons, testing, heat treatment, NDE, and metallography. Owns qualification plans and design allowables aligned with NAVSEA and MMPDS requirements while collaborating with software, design, production, quality, and suppliers.

Own manufacturing and test integration for rocket mechanisms from design release through vehicle integration. Develop assembly flows, mBOMs, work orders, specifications, tooling, and workcenter processes. Support production floor operations, resolve discrepancies, lead root-cause and corrective actions, improve manufacturability, and mentor manufacturing engineers. The role covers interdisciplinary mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies for reusable launch vehicle hardware.

Serve as the primary escalation point for Linux infrastructure issues across engineering. Provision and maintain Linux laptops, workstations, servers, and lab systems; manage authentication, access, patching, backups, health checks, storage, performance, and capacity. Troubleshoot complex system, network, and service issues, triage requests, and maintain peer-reviewed configuration-management code in an infrastructure-as-code environment.
