Design technical workflows, integrate enterprise systems, improve data integrity and operational performance, and lead digital transformation initiatives. Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, finance, and operations teams to translate complex needs into reliable, scalable product solutions.

Develops dynamic loads, vibration, shock, and coupled-load analyses for Relativity Space’s Terran R launch vehicle and supporting hardware. Responsibilities include maturing hardware designs, generating load predictions, validating analytical models, developing qualification specifications, guiding structural design and testing, and collaborating across aerospace engineering teams. The role requires mechanics and vibrations knowledge, dynamic-response modeling, testing and instrumentation experience, engineering programming, and data analysis skills.

Supports vehicle-level integration and testing of Terran R across mechanical, fluid, electrical, and avionics systems. Authors and executes test procedures, leads test readiness, coordinates ground support equipment and instrumentation, performs pre-test walkdowns, mitigates hazards, and troubleshoots issues with Engineering, Production, and Test teams. The role operates on a first-shift, 50-hour weekly schedule with guaranteed overtime.

Designs, builds, operates, and troubleshoots pressurized cryogenic, pneumatic, and hydraulic test systems for rocket testing. Develops data control systems, creates test plans and procedures, advises engineers on testing practices, mitigates hazards, and improves hardware reliability. The role requires hands-on experience with pressureized flight components, hazardous equipment, and complex fluid-mechanical systems, plus proficiency in basic office software.

Plans, executes, and documents complex rocket factory test operations. Develops test plans, procedures, automation, and work instructions; leads Test Readiness Reviews; operates manual and computer-controlled systems; troubleshoots electrical and fluid systems; mitigates safety risks; and supports post-test analysis, continuous improvement, training, and test stand design feedback.

Provides technical leadership for electrical architecture and integration across complex launch and processing facilities. Leads medium- to high-voltage power generation, distribution, protection, controls, redundancy, commissioning, and mission-critical infrastructure efforts. Establishes engineering standards, oversees equipment selection and construction deliverables, resolves cross-disciplinary challenges, manages technical risks, and mentors engineers. Requires extensive lifecycle experience spanning requirements, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operations.

Owns mechanical and structural design, packaging, analysis, testing, and validation of secondary avionics structures for the Terran R rocket. Provides technical direction, approves designs and analyses, makes architecture-level tradeoffs, and leads cross-functional integration across avionics, fluids, dynamics, thermal, structures, and vehicle integration teams. Ensures hardware meets static, dynamic, and thermal flight environments while balancing mission requirements, producibility, schedule, and cost.

Develop and integrate Terran R vehicle build processes across the lifecycle. Own verification activities for integration, testing, and launch-site checkouts; support qualification, acceptance, and hotfire campaigns; write test objectives, matrices, and plans; resolve off-nominal manufacturing challenges; and balance technical, cost, schedule, performance, reliability, and launch-rate constraints. Collaborate across mechanical, fluids, avionics, manufacturing, and other engineering teams, with possible travel and shifted schedules for critical milestones.

Owns end-to-end stage test campaigns for Terran R, including test planning, sequence development, hardware operations, data review, console operations, troubleshooting, requirements decomposition, verification, and risk mitigation. The role integrates vehicle subsystems across qualification, acceptance, hotfire, launch, recovery, and reuse activities. It requires cross-functional collaboration across mechanical, fluids, electrical, manufacturing, and aerospace engineering teams, along with travel to test and launch sites and flexibility during critical milestones.

Develop and scale manufacturing processes for rocket turbopump components and assemblies. Own manufacturing trades, fabrication, testing, tooling, and delivery of critical propulsion hardware while serving as the interface between design and manufacturing teams. Responsibilities include turbopump assembly, rotor balancing, tolerance analysis, structural proofing, leak checks, machining, additive manufacturing, and process optimization for flight engine production.

Develops manufacturing processes for rocket turbopump components and assemblies, including fabrication, assembly, testing, tooling, and delivery of critical propulsion hardware. Develop analysis methods, vibration and shock test plans, payload interface environments, and measurement systems. Collaborate with aerodynamics, propulsion, GNC, avionics, reliability, and customer teams to resolve multidisciplinary dynamics issues. Mentor junior analysts and support test planning, execution, and data validation.

Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, and work orders for avionics hardware and wire harnesses. Lead manufacturing readiness reviews, provide design-for-manufacturability feedback, troubleshoot production issues, resolve non-conformances, and implement corrective actions. Partner with supply chain and quality teams to ensure component quality. Analyze yield and process data, drive continuous improvement, and maintain capacity and demand models.

Develops and validates structural analyses for reusable launch vehicle components and systems, including tanks, thrust structures, mechanisms, trays, and lines. Responsibilities include architecture and sizing, structural mechanics tool development and automation, advanced analysis techniques, directing design engineers, and executing qualification tests involving hardware integration, instrumentation, and data processing.

Lead global sourcing and supplier management for complex machined aerospace components supporting Terran R. Develop supplier strategies, negotiate contracts, plan capacity, manage risks, and ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets. Partner with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and planning teams to support design for manufacturability and program milestones. Drive supplier performance improvements, oversee milestone-based agreements, mentor team members, and provide expertise in aerospace machining and supplier development.

Lead strategic planning and execution for tooling and factory automation programs supporting rocket manufacturing. Build team frameworks, productivity tools, and processes; coordinate cross-functional customers, people, scope, timelines, and communications; contribute to tooling and automation design initiatives; and establish impact metrics. The role requires program management experience, manufacturing knowledge, technical problem-solving, and the ability to develop scalable solutions across matrixed organizations.

Develops, validates, and improves manufacturing test assets and processes for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies. Leads test equipment and tooling design, sequencing, documentation, work orders, training, and shop-floor support.
