Owns multi-state workforce compliance, HR policies, employee relations, and regulatory strategy for a distributed hourly workforce. Responsibilities include tracking wage, leave, scheduling, and local employment laws; managing registrations, payroll tax and unemployment accounts; overseeing I-9s, claims, leaves, investigations, audits, and handbook updates; partnering with Product and Engineering to build compliance into the platform; training Operations and Support; and developing scalable compliance processes and vendors.

Own and lead the React Native mobile app architecture, quality, and releases. Mentor engineers, enforce mobile best practices, ship features end-to-end, improve performance and observability, and contribute across React web and backend services.

Lead and scale the engineering organization: own technical strategy, delivery, and operational maturity. Build and mentor a team, define engineering standards, drive DevOps and infrastructure reliability, manage technical debt and incident response, and contribute hands-on to architecture and implementation to enable rapid, reliable marketplace growth.

Provide multi-channel (phone, SMS, email, Slack) real-time support to retailers and workers across US markets; review I-9s, onboard and hire workers, triage and escalate issues, handle volume spikes, craft responses, and improve operational processes.
