The Senior Cost Analyst manages product costing, margin analysis, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost controls across multiple facilities. Responsibilities include analyzing cost variances, modeling costs for new products and process changes, identifying margin improvement opportunities, supporting pricing and profitability decisions, and overseeing inventory accuracy and reserves. The role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and plant leadership, supports monthly close activities, and regularly travels to manufacturing sites.

Lead all plant operations for a feed/nutrient manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, food quality, regulatory compliance (FDA/OSHA), production planning, cost control, staffing, maintenance, logistics, and continuous improvement while mentoring and developing the team.

Lead plant operations for a pet, livestock and aquaculture nutrient manufacturer, ensuring safety, food quality, regulatory compliance (FDA/OSHA), production planning, cost control, maintenance, logistics, staffing, and continuous improvement. Manage budgets, develop staff, implement operating procedures, and oversee facility infrastructure and day-to-day production activities.

Lead end-to-end product costing, margin analysis, and inventory valuation across manufacturing sites. Provide cost variance analysis, support pricing and new product cost modeling, partner with operations to drive cost reductions, ensure inventory controls, and present insights to senior leadership. Regularly travel to plants and support month-end close for manufacturing cost and COGS.

Provide administrative and operational support to the Customer & Business Solutions team: maintain records and ERP data, process orders and invoices, support accounts payable/receivable, prepare reports, coordinate documentation and meetings, respond to stakeholders, and assist with process improvements and special projects for domestic and international operations.
